The Peruvian standout demonstrated blistering pace across the short formats, recording a winning average of 8.26 seconds in the 3x3x3 Cube alongside a best single solve of 6.69 seconds. Beyond the elite marks at the top of the podiums, the one-day gathering in Andahuaylas, Peru served as a vibrant gateway for local talent, welcoming dozens of first-time entrants into official World Cube Association play.

A total of 39 competitors registered across six puzzle disciplines, completing 11 rounds of official action throughout the day. The cubing competition featured a dense schedule that challenged both seasoned solvers and newcomers looking to establish their initial official marks. With Peruvian competitors capturing all 18 podium positions available, the tournament showcased regional depth. Aguirre set the standard early, but the remarkable influx of debuting participants provided the defining narrative of the speedcubing showcase in the Apurímac region.
