Ninety-nine competitors made their way across borders and districts to converge on Bangkok, Thailand, setting the stage for two packed days of elite puzzle action. The YJ Suankularb Open 2025 gathered speedcubers at Suankularb Wittayalai School on April 26 and April 27, drawing both local talent and international travellers eager to test their mettle. Across 19 rounds and nine distinct disciplines, competitors journeyed far from their home routines to compete on the tournament floor, transforming the venue into an energetic hub of high-speed solving.
The premier 3x3x3 Cube contest delivered exceptional theatre as ninety-six entrants battled across three stages to determine the podium. Natthaphat Mahtani delivered a composed performance to secure first place with a winning average of 7.39 seconds alongside a tournament-best single of 5.82 seconds. The 3x3 results saw China international traveller Jiayu Wang push the pace to claim the second-place spot with an average of 7.46 seconds, while Parist Pariyakanok took third with 7.63 seconds.
