Community Camaraderie Takes Center Stage Across Four Events in PragueEnglish

Twenty-five competitors came together in Prague, Czech Republic, on July 12, 2026, setting the stage for a fast-paced day of competitive puzzle solving. Hosted at the FYFT venue, the single-day gathering brought speedcubing enthusiasts into close quarters for ten rounds of competition across four distinct events. With a tight field and a full schedule running from morning to afternoon, the atmosphere between rounds fostered easy conversation and shared practice tables, highlighting the tight-knit spirit that defines the regional cubing competition circuit.

While standard 3x3 results typically dominate the headlines, this specific program offered a showcase for alternate disciplines, including the large cubes, Pyraminx, and Clock. Participants swapped strategies and compared puzzle hardware across side events, creating an engaging environment where veterans and developing solvers mingled seamlessly. Vltava Cube: July 2026 proved that smaller gatherings often provide the most meaningful opportunities for peers to connect, whether analyzing scramble patterns or encouraging each other through the final turns of an intense average.

The 4x4x4 Cube competition demanded sharp lookahead across three rounds, drawing twenty-two competitors into the fray. Štěpán Schroll of the Czech Republic secured the title with a winning average of 35.21 seconds, also posting the fastest single time of the event at 32.35 seconds. Clément Burgevin of France claimed second place with an average of 36.55 seconds, while Jongwon Kook of the Republic of Korea rounded out the podium in third with a 39.85 mark. The duel at the top showcased the precise fingertricks necessary to manage double-layer turns on the Rubik's Cube variant.

In the single-round 5x5x5 Cube event, twenty-three entrants tackled the largest puzzle of the day. Arsenij Kuprin of the Czech Republic delivered a dominant performance, winning the event with an average of 1:00.66 and securing the best single solve of 57.68 seconds. Štěpán Schroll took second place on the podium with an average of 1:05.68, while Veronika Becková locked down third place with a 1:10.17 result. The contest highlighted the endurance and center-building expertise required to succeed on the five-layer mechanism.

Beyond the top podium steps, Vltava Cube: July 2026 delivered standout individual milestones that captured the broader depth of the gathering. Ondřej Pavel took on four events and posted significant leaps forward, cutting his Clock personal best by 30.8 percent down to 7.29 seconds, improving his 5x5x5 Cube best by 14.1 percent to 1:22.65, and adding a 4x4x4 Cube personal best of 43.80 on the way to a 12th-place finish on the big cube. Šimon Bitman also entered four events, reducing his 4x4x4 Cube personal best by 13.3 percent to 34.74 seconds and his 5x5x5 Cube mark by 12.2 percent to 1:14.97, placing 11th in the latter. Meanwhile, Tomáš Čech completed three events and logged his first ever attempt at 4x4x4 Cube with a time of 1:40.43.

The progress continued across the scorecards as solvers found their rhythm throughout the afternoon. Patrik Cichra tackled four disciplines and reduced his Clock personal best by 8.2 percent down to 8.30 seconds. Natálie Rajdusová took on two events and brought her Clock personal best down to 10.08 seconds, marking a 7.3 percent drop. Matyáš Kiss took on four events, achieving a best finish of 18th place in the 5x5x5 Cube, while Veronika Pirklová also took on four events and reached 4th place in the Pyraminx final. These breakthrough moments across the roster added genuine excitement to the day.

The mechanical precision of Clock produced some of the fastest sequences of the competition, drawing nineteen participants through three complete rounds. Jongwon Kook took top honors for the Republic of Korea with a 5.08 winning average and an event-leading 3.76 single. Matyáš Krejcárek took second place with a 6.21 average, followed closely by Antonín Prynych in third at 6.73 seconds. The event highlighted the balance of dial orientation and pin manipulation that makes the puzzle a distinct challenge within the speed cubing world.

Pyraminx concluded the day's proceedings with eighteen competitors contesting three fast-paced rounds. Matyáš Krejcárek captured the gold with a winning average of 3.04 seconds alongside the best single solve of 2.44 seconds. Antonín Prynych collected his second podium of the weekend by taking second place with a 3.93 average, while Jan Trojáček claimed third place in 4.07 seconds. The tetrahedral event offered rapid, high-energy solves that kept the side-room tables engaged until the final timers were stopped.

By the close of the single-day WCA competition, host nation athletes had earned nine podium positions, alongside two for the Republic of Korea and one for France. The shared experiences in the venue and the steady stream of personal milestones showed the strength of the local puzzle community in Prague throughout 2026. As Vltava Cube: July 2026 came to an end, participants packed away their gear with refreshed benchmarks and enduring connections built across a full day of dedicated solving.

Rychlý rozvoj talentů na Vltava Cube: July 2026 přinesl strhující soubojeČeština

25 závodníků se sešlo v pražském herním prostoru FYFT, aby poměřili své dovednosti v řešení mechanických hlavolamů. Akce proběhla v jediném nabitém dni 12. července 2026. Jednodenní speedcubing soutěž nabídla celkem čtyři disciplíny rozložené do deseti jednotlivých kol.

Druhou pozici přidal do své sbírky Štěpán Schroll s časem 1:05.68 a bronzovou příčku získala Veronika Becková s průměrem 1:10.17.

Patrick Kleverlaan nastoupil do tří disciplín a vybojoval 6. příčku v hodinách Clock.

Netradiční disciplína Clock přinesla triumf pro zahraničí, když Jongwon Kook (국종원) nenašel přemožitele a zvítězil s průměrem 5.08 sekundy a nejlepším jednotlivým časem 3.76 sekundy. V tříkolovém formátu za účasti 19 závodníků obsadil druhé místo Matyáš Krejcárek s průměrem 6.21 sekundy a třetí skončil Antonín Prynych s průměrem 6.73 sekundy.
