With only tenths of a second separating the contenders, the main event delivered an intense finish that defined the tone for the entire gathering in Spanish Fork, Utah, USA.

Held on October 26, 2024, at the Spanish Fork Fairgrounds Ponderosa Building, Utah Valley Open 2024 brought together 62 competitors across four different events. The single-day WCA competition showcased 10 total rounds of action, featuring puzzles ranging from the classic Rubik's Cube to specialized challenges. Speedcubing enthusiasts gathered to test their skills and push their personal limits across a packed schedule.

Beyond his main event triumph, Pettitt demonstrated remarkable versatility across the tournament board. He secured runner-up positions in both Clock and Skewb, and added a third-place finish in the 3x3x3 Blindfolded discipline with a time of 1:44.65. His steady consistency across multiple puzzle types made him a central figure in the tournament standings, earning four separate podium spots by the end of the day.

Levie logged a winning average of 2.08 alongside a best single of 1.65 across the two rounds of competition.
