Suzane Coelho delivered a commanding performance on the main stage, securing victory in the 3x3x3 Cube with a decisive 10.23 second average and an event-leading single of 8.05 seconds. Her double-gold campaign set the competitive benchmark for a bustling Saturday in Salvador, Bahia, Brazil. Beyond the top of the podium, the gathering highlighted the vibrant spirit of the local speedcubing community as sixty solvers filled the venue to share solves, compare methods, and support one another across a diverse slate of six distinct events.
Held on January 27, 2024, at the Faculdade de Direito da UFBA, the one-day WCA competition brought together veterans and newcomers alike. Solvers clustered around warm-up stations between schedules, trading tips on hardware setup and analyzing scrambles from earlier rounds. With seven rounds played across the entire day, the schedule kept participants engaged through classic Rubik's Cube categories as well as specialized side puzzles, fostering an atmosphere defined as much by camaraderie and peer encouragement as by podium chases.
The 3x3 results formed the centerpiece of the tournament, requiring two rounds of intensive play to determine the final standings from a field of fifty-nine competitors. Suzane Coelho took first place with her 10.23 average, followed closely by João Vinícius Santos in second at 10.69 seconds and João Pedro dos Santos Costa taking third with an 11.28 average. Coelho was equally effective in 3x3x3 One-Handed, claiming her second gold of the day with a 15.87 average and a 14.18 single, while Santos and Costa secured second and third with 18.99 and 21.35 respectively.

The competition saw deep fields, with forty-five competitors contesting the 2x2x2 Cube and pushing each other to fast times across the single scheduled round.
