Radovanović and Fiumefreddo Lead the Way as Records Fall at Tivat Summer 2025English

A blistering 2.27 national record single by David Pantović in the 2x2x2 Cube highlighted the action as speedcubing talent gathered in Tivat, Montenegro on September 20, 2025. Hosted at Knightsbridge Schools International Montenegro, Tivat Summer 2025 brought together 23 competitors across seven disciplines and 14 fast-paced rounds. The landmark solve from Pantović gave the home crowd a defining record to celebrate on an intense, single-day cubing competition program.

Serbia and Italy dominated the top steps of the podium throughout the weekend, collecting eight and seven podium finishes respectively. Serbia's Aleksa Radovanović captured the prestigious 3x3x3 Cube title, securing the victory with a 9.41 winning average alongside a best single of 7.48. Radovanović finished ahead of Italy's Riccardo Fiumefreddo, who logged an 11.09 average, and Ukraine's Ivan Kapusta, who took third on the podium with an 11.87 mark in the final round of the classic Rubik's Cube.

The 3x3 results formed only one part of Radovanović's dominant day across the larger puzzles. In the 4x4x4 Cube, Radovanović earned the gold with a 33.21 winning average, finishing comfortably ahead of Fiumefreddo's 44.45 and Kapusta's 55.77. The Serbian standout followed up with another first-place finish in the 5x5x5 Cube, recording an average of 1:01.94 and a sharp single of 59.16 to outpace Fiumefreddo at 1:34.47 and Russia's Vladimir Kuznetsov at 2:10.05.

Riccardo Fiumefreddo proved just as unstoppable across the shorter and side events, assembling a triple-gold performance of his own. In the 2x2x2 Cube, Fiumefreddo took first place with a swift 2.31 average and a 1.79 best single, holding off Radovanović at 4.25 and Mihajlo Marić at 4.58. Fiumefreddo also claimed the top spot in Pyraminx with an average of 4.43, besting Kapusta's 8.26 and Marić's 8.61, before capturing the Skewb title with a 6.28 average over Kuznetsov, who matched the 6.28 mark, and Marić at 7.81.

The Clock event delivered another sharp final, won by Serbia's Mihajlo Marić with a 6.23 average and a 6.10 best single. Marić finished clear of Fiumefreddo, who marked 15.18 for second, and Kapusta, who rounded out the podium at 16.23. The performance added a key victory to Serbia's overall medal count, emphasizing the high level of speed cubing execution required in single-round finals.
