Divyaansh Khatri and Indian Standouts Sweep All Podiums at Synocubix 2024English
Divyaansh Khatri set an untouchable standard in Gandhinagar, Gujarat, India, securing a brilliant double victory across the premier events to headline Synocubix 2024. Staged on February 25, 2024, at the Dhirubai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology, the one-day WCA competition gathered 65 competitors across eight rounds of head-to-head action. Khatri set the pace right from the start, delivering a winning 8.72 average in the 3x3x3 Cube to capture the top honour of the meet before turning his sights toward the smaller twisty puzzles.
The broader narrative of the day was an absolute clean sweep by domestic competitors, as Indian speedcubers claimed every single one of the 15 podium positions up for grabs across five official events. The level of consistency from the home contingent transformed each final into a tight showcase of regional talent. Whether solving standard layers or odd-angled puzzles, Indian solvers maintained a locked grip on the awards table from morning until the concluding rounds.
