Inside the Dhirubai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology (DA-IICT), Gandhinagar, the rhythmic clicks of plastic mechanisms set the tone for an intense single-day showdown on March 18, 2023. Cubers from across the region gathered around the solving stations, calibrating their timers and inspecting their scrambles with practiced precision. The atmosphere at Synocubix 2023 reflected the sharp focus of an active speedcubing tournament where every split-second transition mattered across the table.

A total of 61 competitors assembled for the WCA competition, taking on nine rounds across five distinct events. As the schedule unfolded in Gandhinagar, Gujarat, India, seasoned solvers quickly asserted their presence on the main stage. The event served as a major platform for established names in the Indian cubing community to display their durability and technical mastery, demonstrating how years of dedicated practice translate into reliable tournament consistency under pressure.
