SeungO Han Clinches Double Victory as New Talent Shines at Suwon Summer 2025English

A blistering 1.54-second winning average in the 2x2x2 Cube final set the tone for a commanding double victory by SeungO Han, highlighting an action-packed day of speedcubing excellence. Held at the Bohun Rehabilitation Health Center in 경기도 수원시 (Suwon-si, Gyeonggi-do), Korea on July 13, 2025, Suwon Summer 2025 welcomed 247 competitors across 10 rounds of high-level competition. Beyond the elite silverware, the single-day gathering stood out for welcoming a remarkable wave of newcomers and fresh event debuts onto the official tournament stage.

The 3x3x3 Cube, the centerpiece of the cubing competition, drew an enormous field of 230 competitors to the tables. SeungO Han completed his golden double by topping the 3x3 results with a formidable 6.45-second final average and a round-best 5.69 single. Seung Hyuk Nahm applied immense pressure throughout the final, securing second place with a 6.54 average, while DoHyeon Lee finished third with an average of 7.83. The depth of the classic Rubik's Cube bracket underscored the growing popularity of the scene in the region.

SeungO Han had earlier secured his first title in the 2x2x2 Cube, logging a best single of 1.40 seconds alongside his winning 1.54 average across two intense rounds. Seo Jin Yang claimed the runner-up spot on the podium with a 1.92 average, while Seung Hyuk Nahm took third place with a 2.17 mark. Across 151 competitors in the event, the fast-paced format delivered sharp turnarounds and razor-thin margins at the top of the standings.

Seung Hyuk Nahm reached the very top of the podium in the 4x4x4 Cube, delivering a composed performance to win with a 23.56-second average and a best single of 22.67 across 118 competitors.
