A Hundredth of a Second Decides Clock as Liu Shines at Sicily Spring 2025English
A single hundredth of a second provided the most dramatic finish of the weekend at Centro diurno in San Giuseppe Jato, Palermo, Italy. In a breathtaking Clock round, Alessia Novizio edged out Evan Liu with an average of 5.94 seconds against Liu's 5.95, while Damiano Di Paola secured third place at 6.69. That razor-thin margin capped an extraordinary display of speedcubing precision across two intense days on April 12 and 13, setting the tone for an action-packed 2025 gathering.
Held across 18 rounds in 11 events, Sicily Spring 2025 welcomed 39 competitors to the tables. While Novizio claimed the narrowest victory of the meet, Evan Liu put on a dominant tour de force throughout the schedule. Sicily Spring 2025: Evan Liu domina e i talenti italiani brillano a San Giuseppe JatoItaliano
