Specialists and Niche Events Steal the Show at Shri Ram Cubing Challenge 2025English
The competition hall at Shri Ram College of Commerce buzzed with intense focus across March 22 and March 23, as 89 solvers gathered in New Delhi, Delhi, India for a massive two-day program. Across 10 events and 17 rounds, mats were laid out, timers reset, and tables filled with a distinct array of hardware spanning far beyond standard twisting cubes. The energy in the venue was anchored by intricate multi-faceted challenges, where dedicated specialists took centre stage.
Among the less-common events on the schedule, the shape-shifting Square-1 provided high drama. Sukant Koul claimed second place with an average of 9.74, while Veenayak Bhola took third on the podium with 14.36. The 12-faced Megaminx delivered another masterclass in patience and recognition across its lengthy solving sequences. Arghy Shravast proved dominant in the single-round showdown, registering a winning average of 41.80 seconds alongside the round-best single of 40.23.
