Fine Margins Decide the Podiums at See Georgia: Cloudland Canyon A 2025English
Inside Cloudland Canyon State Park, the focus was absolute as timers beeped and plastic clicked across the tables. Fifty-five competitors gathered in Rising Fawn, Georgia, USA on February 22, 2025, for a day of intense speedcubing across five distinct puzzles and ten rounds of play. The scenic state park setting gave way to razor-sharp concentration as solvers lined up their inspection time and launched into their solves. Every movement of the hands counted, and the final standings would prove just how unforgiving the margins could be.
The drama peaked during the final round of the classic Rubik's Cube, where the race for the podium was decided by mere fractions of a second. While Caleb Chen captured the title with a commanding 7.43 winning average and the best single of the weekend at 5.13, the battle directly behind him came down to the wire. Justin Barker secured second place with an average of 8.02, edging past Nathan Miles who claimed third at 8.07. That gap of just five hundredths of a second defined a fiercely contested 3x3 results podium.
The 3x3x3 One-Handed event brought another tight duel to the tables. Andreas Lambropoulos took the gold medal with a winning average of 10.49, having registered a standout single solve of 9.22 along the way. Nathan Miles earned his second silver of the day by recording an 11.02 average across the five solves, narrowly ahead of Caleb Chen who took third place on the podium with an 11.56 mark. Forty-five competitors took part in the two rounds of single-handed solving.
Across the other formats, the competition displayed remarkable versatility. In Megaminx, Jared Stinson dominated the twelve-sided puzzle, securing first place with an average of 39.08 and a single solve of 36.68. Daniel Mullen followed in second with 52.03, while Nathan Miles picked up his third podium finish of the event with 1:01.98. In Square-1, Matthew Remington captured the title with a 9.73 average and a fast 7.41 single, finishing ahead of Henry Schueneman at 11.02 and Kyra Joiner at 12.52.
Blindfolded solving, requiring pure memorisation before the blindfold descends, concluded with Kyra Joiner taking top honours. Joiner delivered a winning single solve of 51.13 seconds to lead the field of seventeen competitors. Reece Manders secured the second spot with a clean solve of 1:18.41, while Daniel Mullen earned third place with a time of 1:33.41. All fifteen podium positions across the tournament went to competitors representing the USA.
