The venue in Clarksville, Maryland, USA provided the battleground for competitors looking to establish supremacy across five disciplines on December 7, 2024. With ten rounds scheduled over a single action-packed day, rival solvers from across the region arrived determined to claim podium honors.

The main event, the classic Rubik's Cube, featured three intensive rounds among the full field of 109 entrants. As the tournament progressed, regional contenders pushed each other to shave fractions of a second off their times. In the final round, Caleb Wen proved untouchable on the main stage, capturing first place with a winning average of 7.05 seconds and logging a best single solve of 6.54. Shaun Mack applied relentless pressure to secure the silver spot with a 7.29 average, while Brayden Adams took third place with a 7.80 mark to round out the 3x3 results.

Mack delivered a commanding response throughout the remainder of the WCA competition, turning head-to-head duels into multiple podium finishes. In the 2x2x2 Cube, which featured 100 competitors across two rounds, Mack clinched the title with an average of 1.74 seconds and a top single of 1.62. Fanny Manoharan tackled five events, recording an opening Megaminx effort of 2:16.65 to take 40th, a first one-handed solve of 30.34, and a 2x2x2 personal best of 2.84, which was 46.2 percent faster than before. LJ Chang logged a first Pyraminx solve of 10.89, a first one-handed mark of 56.04, and improved by 40.3 percent on 2x2 with a 5.12.

Jasmin Baltazar entered four events, posting a first Pyraminx solve of 6.53 seconds, placing 16th in 3x3x3 Cube, and improving their 3x3x3 One-Handed mark by 40.3 percent to 16.41. Immanuel Morris finished 33rd in Megaminx with a first attempt of 1:44.30 and dropped their 3x3x3 best by 21.4 percent to 11.38, while Leon Kim logged a first Pyraminx of 6.17, a first one-handed of 31.65, and improved their 3x3x3 to 12.75.

In the specialty puzzle categories, the battle for regional bragging rights remained exceptionally fierce. The Pyraminx event drew 78 competitors over two rounds, resulting in an exciting finish where Mariana K. Lee captured the championship title with a winning average of 2.52 seconds and a single solve of 1.95. Mack stayed in the thick of the title fight to earn second place with a 2.62 average, while Kleiner picked up another podium finish by taking third place with an average of 2.84 seconds.

The single-round Megaminx contest saw 57 solvers take to the tables, providing Declan Wilhelm with a platform to showcase mastery on the twelve-sided puzzle. Wilhelm posted a winning average of 38.13 seconds alongside the day's best single solve of 36.14 to claim first place. Kleiner secured the silver spot with an average of 44.12 seconds, edging out Mack, who took third place at 44.29 seconds. The result gave Kleiner two runner-up finishes and three total podiums across the Clarksville meeting.
