Versatility Shines Across Thirteen Diverse Events at Río Cuarto al Cubo 2023English

The shopping concourse at Paseo Ribera Shopping bustled with intense concentration as forty-nine competitors gathered for a packed weekend of speedcubing action. Between December 8 and December 9, the venue in Río Cuarto, Córdoba, Argentina, transformed into a hub of mechanical calculation, where tables were covered with an array of geometric shapes, turn-counters, and timers. Rather than focusing on a single format, the gathering celebrated the complete spectrum of official disciplines, offering participants and spectators a dynamic exhibition of technical dexterity.

Across twenty-three rounds, the schedule at Río Cuarto al Cubo 2023 tested specialists across thirteen distinct events, from the rapid rotations of the 2x2x2 Cube to the memory demands of multiple blindfolded puzzles. Manuel Gutman proved to be the most versatile competitor of the tournament, taking victories in six separate formats. His performances spanned from large cubes like the 4x4x4 Cube, where he won with an average of 28.78 seconds, and the 5x5x5 Cube, where he posted a winning average of 1:05.63, to the turning mechanisms of Clock, winning in 8.42 seconds.
