Staged on June 25, 2023, Ratchapruek Cubing Sunday 2023 delivered a high-stakes, single-discipline showdown in Nonthaburi, Thailand. While multi-event tournaments often distribute attention across varied formats, this dedicated cubing competition focused solely on the traditional Rubik's Cube. With 125 competitors taking to the tables across two intense rounds, every turn counted as solvers chased standard-setting marks and pushed the pace of regional speedcubing.

The 3x3x3 Cube contest stood as the centerpiece of the entire day, testing consistency, ergonomic execution, and mental clarity through five-solve averages. From the opening qualifying stage to the closing round, participants battled for spots among the upper ranks. As the field narrowed, the standard at the top sharpened rapidly, demanding sub-eight-second precision to maintain any realistic hope of securing a podium finish on the Thai circuit.

Parist Pariyakanok emerged as the dominant force in the event, capturing the championship title with an outstanding winning average of 7.08 seconds. Pariyakanok set the benchmark for the weekend, also logging the best single solve of the entire tournament at 5.83 seconds. That explosive pace kept him comfortably clear of the chasing pack, showcasing the sharp form that has elevated him among the top tier of solvers this season.

The remaining podium steps featured fierce competition between seasoned Thai contenders. Asia Konvittayayotin delivered a stellar run across the final round to claim second place overall with a 7.99 average.
