PBQ Toledo Fall 2025, held on October 25, 2025 in Toledo, Ohio, USA, gave young speedcubing talents a dedicated arena to put their rigorous training on full display. The single-day WCA competition was packed with four demanding events across four rounds, testing contestants across increasingly complex blindfolded formats where focus and rapid improvement are crucial for success.

Mason Langenderfer headlined the gathering by securing a sweep across every single event on the schedule. In the traditional 3x3x3 Blindfolded round, Langenderfer recorded a standout winning single of 28.36 seconds, distancing himself from the field. That rapid benchmark proved to be the standard across the event, as other competitors worked through their own memorisation routines and execution stages under tournament conditions.

The 3x3 results in the blindfolded division highlighted steady growth throughout the six-person roster. Cole Shaft earned second place on the podium with a clean single of 1:14.00, while Jack Keenan followed closely behind to claim third place with a time of 1:17.91. Braden Richards also logged a successful solve with a single time of 2:17.37, while Tyler Rose and Wesley Barwinski registered uncompleted attempts alongside other uncompleted solve averages across the lineup.

Stepping up to larger puzzles, the 4x4x4 Blindfolded contest tested each contestant's ability to track center pieces and wings without visual feedback. Langenderfer once again led the way, taking first place with a time of 2:57.58. His composure on the four-layer puzzle underscored the rapid advancement seen across the regional scene, where complex hardware management meets high-speed mental tracking.

The rest of the 4x4x4 Blindfolded podium showed determined efforts across the field. Barwinski posted a successful single of 6:23.18 to capture the second step on the podium, showing sharp execution across the extended solve. Keenan secured third place with a time of 14:45.00, demonstrating the perseverance required to see a large blind solve through to a clean completion.

The test grew steeper in 5x5x5 Blindfolded, an event requiring vast memorisation structures and flawless execution. Langenderfer conquered the challenge, taking the victory with a mark of 6:14.03. Barwinski joined him on the podium in second place after putting together a complete solve of 20:37.00. The remaining competitors in the round, including Rose, Keenan, Shaft, and Richards, did not register a completed solve, sharing third place with uncompleted results.

The day concluded with 3x3x3 Multi-Blind, where contestants memorise and solve multiple standard Rubik's Cube puzzles consecutively while sightless. Langenderfer delivered another dominant performance, successfully solving 24 out of 27 cubes within a time limit of 57:25. His high-volume success rounded out an undefeated day across all disciplines at the Main Branch Library venue.

Keenan turned in a flawless success rate in the multi-blind event, finishing second by solving all 10 of his 10 attempted puzzles in 54:52. Barwinski locked in third place with a solid total of 11 solved cubes out of 14 attempted in exactly 1:00:00, while Shaft recorded an uncompleted attempt. Across all events at this cubing competition, all fifteen podium positions went to United States competitors.

The achievements at PBQ Toledo Fall 2025 demonstrated how fast the next wave of memory solvers is progressing in the region.
