Forty-eight competitors gathered in Tepic, Nayarit, Mexico, on August 19 and 20, bringing an influx of emerging talent to the tables of the Museo Interactivo de Ciencias e Innovación de Nayarit. The two-day gathering featured 17 rounds of action across eight separate events, providing a packed platform for newcomers and veterans alike. For many in attendance, the weekend served as a vital proving ground to test their skills in official WCA competition play, demonstrating the continuous expansion of speedcubing across western Mexico during the 2023 season.
