Nanchang Winter 2025

Hongjie Zhang delivered the most striking performance of the weekend at the Zhongsen International Hotel, claiming the top spot in 3x3x3 Blindfolded with a sharp winning single of 22.51 seconds. Blindfolded solving requires intense memorisation and composure under pressure, demanding that competitors inspect the scramble, commit every piece location to memory, and execute their solution without visual feedback. Zhang navigated those strict demands to best a field of 17 competitors across two rounds, securing the title ahead of Jinghan Yang, who placed second with a single of 28.04 seconds, and Xin Shi, who took third with 36.88 seconds.
