Over 12 rounds spanning six disciplines, the vibrant gathering demonstrated how quickly the sport is growing across the region.

The flagship Rubik's Cube competition drew 145 competitors through three demanding elimination rounds. Behind Geng, Yiheng Wang claimed second place with an average of 5.13 seconds, while Ruihang Xu rounded out the podium in third with a 5.46 average. Fans closely tracking 3x3 results saw remarkable consistency across the final group, but Geng maintained a distinct edge across all five solves to secure the premier title of the weekend.

Yiheng Wang delivered an exceptional display in the 2x2x2 Cube event, capturing victory with a rapid 1.03-second average and a best single solve of 0.87. Shuda Huang took second place with an average of 1.40, while Bofan Zhang secured third place with 1.50 seconds. The 2x2x2 contest was one of the deepest brackets of the competition, featuring 101 competitors and two rounds of exceptionally quick turning from start to finish.

In the 5x5x5 Cube, Ruihang Xu topped the field of 46 competitors with a winning average of 42.60 seconds, which included the day's best single of 35.32. Ziyu Wu secured the runner-up spot with a mark of 44.29, followed by Xuyi Wang in third place at 46.14. Across the larger puzzles and side events, this speedcubing meeting showcased the immense depth of talent across China, with all 18 podium spots claimed by domestic competitors.

Beyond the top steps of the podium, Nanchang Spring 2025 served as a launching pad for athletes expanding their repertoires and hitting major milestones. Chenyi Ye took on six different events, earning a best finish of 33rd place in the 5x5x5 Cube while making first career official attempts in Clock with a 10.65, the 5x5x5 Cube with a 1:23.33, and Skewb with a 4.84. Weilong Luo also tackled six events, finishing 36th in the 5x5x5 Cube, recording inaugural attempts in Clock at 9.20 and 5x5x5 Cube at 1:32.16, while improving his Skewb personal best to 7.07, an impressive 73 percent faster than his prior mark of 26.20.

The progress continued across every corner of the venue as competitors unlocked rapid improvements. Shuheng Zhang took on five events, logging a 46th place finish in the 5x5x5 Cube with a debut 1:56.25, a debut Clock mark of 17.58, and a Pyraminx personal best of 9.20 that slashed his previous mark of 20.60 by 55.3 percent. Hongzhi Li entered three events, logging first attempts in Pyraminx with 3.87 and 2x2x2 with 4.09, alongside a 3x3x3 personal best of 14.17 that was 40.5 percent faster than his previous 23.81. Ying Hu recorded a first official Clock attempt of 8.00 while cutting her 2x2x2 best by 41.1 percent to 2.44 and trimming her 3x3x3 best by 8.2 percent to 10.18. Wei Shi trimmed his Skewb best by 66.8 percent down to 3.68 and dropped his 2x2x2 best by 44.4 percent to 3.41 across four events.

Side events brought additional drama throughout the afternoon. Lingkun Jiang secured the Pyraminx crown with a 1.42 winning average and a single of 1.12, finishing ahead of Kaixi Guo who averaged 2.72 and Yening Liu who took third at 3.28. Kaixi Guo responded in the Skewb event by clinching first place with a 2.26 average, holding off Mingze Lin at 2.60 and Jiawen Liu at 2.75 in an exciting second-round finish.

The Clock event closed out the side disciplines with Yening Liu finishing on top, registering a winning average of 3.81 and a best single of 2.92. Zhe Wang followed in second place with an average of 4.42, while Kaixi Guo picked up another podium result in third with 5.03. 在耀眼的冠军榜单之外，赛场更记录了大量选手突破自我的坚实足迹。Haosong Tu (涂皓松)在本次比赛参加了2个项目，在三阶魔方中斩获9.29秒的个人最好成绩，比原先的24.64秒提升了62.3%，同时二阶魔方也跑出4.19秒刷新个人纪录。Xuecheng Wang (王雪城)参加了2个项目，其二阶魔方取得2.48秒的个人最好成绩，比之前的6.14秒快了59.6%，三阶魔方也以10.27秒将原纪录提升了33.4%。Wenxuan Xia (夏文轩)报名3个项目，不仅在五阶魔方迎来生涯首次尝试并取得1分35.84秒取得第39名，三阶魔方也以10.77秒比原先快了23.5%。

突破的浪潮在更多选手中持续蔓延。Jiashuo Li (黎家硕)在参加的3个项目中迎来了魔表项目的生涯首次尝试，交出9.84秒的答卷，其三阶魔方亦以6.89秒实现22.8%的成绩提升。Jiarun Weng (翁镓润)在3个项目中发挥出色，魔表项目不仅创下4.31秒的个人最好成绩提升达54.2%，还收获了第5名的佳绩，其金字塔魔方也以2.37秒大幅提升42.2%。Zhaolian Peng (彭昭莲)参加了4个项目，首次尝试魔表项目录得23.44秒，金字塔魔方创下8.08秒个人最好成绩提速16.4%，三阶魔方同样以15.82秒实现进步。
