Fast single solves frequently turn heads, but the podiums throughout this speedcubing meeting were dictated by unyielding consistency across complete averages. When the margins tighten in high-level speed cubing, steady execution under pressure separates the champions from the chasing pack, making every attempt crucial in the final standings.

The premier 3x3x3 Cube event proved how vital a balanced set of solves can be. Bofan Zhang secured victory by putting together a 5.25 winning average in the final, complemented by the best single of the event at 4.44 among a massive field of 130 competitors. Yufang Du took second place with a 5.41 average, while Xuanyi Geng rounded out the top three with a mark of 5.77. The 3x3 results demonstrated that sustaining elite pace through three successive rounds was required to top the leaderboard.

Bofan Zhang doubled his gold tally in the 2x2x2 Cube, topping a field of 85 competitors with an average of 1.76 to go along with a best single of 1.34. The event featured exceptional depth, with Zixuan Xu claiming second place on a 1.98 average and Yiming Zhuang earning third on 2.22. During the earlier action, Bofan Zhang delivered a single solve of 0.87 and an average of 1.37, while Zixuan Xu posted a 1.08 single and a 2.15 average, anchoring a series of notable marks in the event.

Ziyu Wu delivered an equally composed showing across larger puzzles, taking first place in both the 4x4x4 Cube and Megaminx. In the 4x4x4 Cube, where 64 competitors took to the tables over two rounds, Ziyu Wu recorded a winning average of 28.31 and a best single of 27.13. Hua Huang pressed closely behind to finish second with a 28.39 average, while Yibo Xu earned third place with a 31.04 average across the five-solve final.

The Megaminx contest showcased even greater mastery from Ziyu Wu, who posted a winning average of 28.55 and a single solve of 27.75 among 29 competitors across two rounds. Nachuan Sun took second position with an average of 42.01, and Dongzhe Li placed third with 43.96. Maintaining accuracy across the twelve-sided puzzle demands immense endurance, and Ziyu Wu turned in a commanding display to secure a second gold medal at the Tengwangge Kaiyuan Hotel.

Away from the top of the podiums, the cubing competition saw remarkable personal milestones across the venue. Xianchen Hu took on four events and delivered enormous drops across multiple disciplines, cutting his Skewb personal best by 77.7 percent to 6.18, his 3x3x3 Cube best by 32.2 percent down to 10.00, and his Pyraminx personal best by 29.3 percent to 7.18. Junpeng Xu also made substantial strides across four events, lowering his 2x2x2 Cube personal best by 46.1 percent to 2.19, trimming his 3x3x3 Cube record by 38 percent to 7.97, and recording a first ever attempt in Megaminx of 1:06.32.

Other competitors took on fresh puzzle formats with great success during the busy schedule. Jinyi Liu competed in four events, logging a first ever attempt at Skewb in 11.07 while taking 44.9 percent off her 2x2x2 Cube best to hit 7.38 and improving her Pyraminx best by 34.3 percent to 5.89. Zhaoxuan Guan entered six events, achieving a best finish of 15th in 2x2x2 Cube, setting personal bests of 1:04.72 in his first Megaminx attempt, 5.24 in his first Skewb attempt, and dropping his Pyraminx mark by 38.3 percent to 4.97. Chung Heng Lok also tackled six events, recording first attempts in the 4x4x4 Cube in 51.88, Megaminx in 1:42.29, and Skewb in 11.33, while Xingyao Tang debuted across Pyraminx with 4.69, Skewb with 5.46, and the 2x2x2 Cube with 3.29.

The side events rounded out the schedule with impressive performances in both the Pyraminx and Skewb brackets. Lingkun Jiang captured the Pyraminx title with a blistering 1.45 average and a best single of 1.07 across two rounds of 70 entrants. Bofan Zhang added another medal to his collection by placing second on a 2.19 average, while Meng Zhang took third with 2.58. In Skewb, Mingze Lin earned victory with an average of 2.91 and a single of 2.70 against 60 competitors, holding off Yening Liu at 3.06 and Shangtong Fu at 3.19.

Across every bracket from the classic Rubik's Cube to the complex Megaminx, Nanchang Spring 2024 rewarded composure and steady solving above all else. With all 18 podium positions claimed by competitors from China, the one-day WCA competition highlighted how reliable five-solve sets continue to define success on the official stage. 赛场上不仅有领奖台的争夺，许多选手在不同项目上实现了个人成绩的大幅提升。Yuyou Cai (蔡予有)在此次赛事中出战4个项目，首次尝试金字塔魔方便录得8.57秒，并在斜转魔方刷新个人最好成绩至7.07秒，提速38.3%，二阶魔方也以3.38秒大幅提速30.9%。Jingyang Zhu (朱景炀)参加了5个项目，不仅完成了四阶魔方的首次尝试并打出1:07.27，还在二阶魔方打出2.91秒大幅提速38.5%，三阶魔方提速9.3%至11.66秒。Mujin Xu (徐沐槿)迎来二阶魔方和金字塔魔方的首次官方尝试，分别取得3.70秒和8.48秒，三阶魔方成绩提速12.1%至11.82秒。

同样取得亮眼进展的还有Qihang Yang (杨齐航)，他参加了5个项目并在五魔方项目上完成首次尝试录得1:01.22，二阶魔方以2.16秒刷新最好成绩提速36.5%，三阶魔方亦创造8.32秒的个人最好成绩。Hao Liu (刘浩)在四阶魔方迎来首次尝试并打出36.88秒，三阶魔方更以8.63秒较原成绩提速39.3%。Kevin Li (李易然)首次尝试二阶魔方交出2.46秒，首次尝试四阶魔方打出37.22秒，三阶魔方以7.03秒提速8.6%，成为赛场上一道独特的风景。

整场Nanchang Spring 2024在紧凑激烈的对抗中圆满落幕，中国选手包揽了全部18个领奖台席位。从特色鲜明的冷门项目到受众广泛的经典项目，这场在南昌举行的WCA competition不仅见证了顶尖高手的统治力，也留下了大批选手不断突破极限的生动印记。
