Sulaiman Mohammed Kabeer Masterclasses One-Handed Solving in TrivandrumEnglish

Sulaiman Mohammed Kabeer delivered a showcase of fingertip precision and table control at the mcubes Cube Open 2023, capturing the 3x3x3 One-Handed title with a winning average of 19.08 seconds. One-handed speedcubing isolates raw execution and ergonomics, punishing hesitations and rewarding fluid turning mechanics. Kabeer established his advantage with a best single of 14.63 seconds across the two rounds, holding off Rahul Venkatesan who finished in second place with a 19.73 average and Vikram Gopinath in third place at 20.95. The battle highlighted how technique and move-count efficiency translate when only a single hand manipulates the layers.

Held across July 29 and July 30 at the DC School of Architecture and design in Trivandrum, Kerala, India, the tournament brought together 67 competitors across 8 distinct events and 14 hard-fought rounds. Enthusiasts of speed cubing gathered from across the region to test their preparation on the official stage. The 2023 calendar stop offered a complete spectrum of disciplines, ranging from traditional Rubik's Cube speed rounds to complex rotational puzzles, all staged under the governing rules of the World Cube Association.
