Many of the participants were early in their competitive journeys, making their first strides under official conditions alongside experienced contenders. The bustling atmosphere captured the pure energy of grassroots speedcubing as 51 competitors lined up across four classic events.

The 2025 schedule featured a total of eight rounds across four disciplines, giving both newcomers and seasoned solvers ample opportunity to test their abilities. Across the tables, athletes rotated between the standard Rubik's Cube, the rapid 2x2x2 Cube, the four-layer 4x4x4 Cube, and the triangular Pyraminx. For those attending their very first WCA competition, managing nerves and clocking clean solves on the official timer was the primary test, while the top seeds focused on razor-thin podium margins.

In the flagship 3x3x3 Cube event, 49 competitors stepped up for two rounds of play. Reuben John Kumar delivered a masterclass throughout the bracket, claiming the title with a winning average of 8.42 seconds and posting the event's best single of 7.44 seconds. Sriram Kartik Pillutla secured second place with a solid average of 9.76 seconds, while Tayyab Siraj rounded out the podium in third with an average of 10.01 seconds. He also posted a 4x4x4 single of 1:13.43, improving by 25.2 percent from 1:38.17, and lowered his 3x3x3 single to 12.40 seconds, a 24.7 percent drop from 16.47. Bhavya Maulik Dhami took on four events, making his first ever attempt at Pyraminx with a 10.47, while setting personal bests of 8.34 in 3x3x3, 23.8 percent faster than 10.94, and 40.20 in 4x4x4, 15 percent faster than 47.30, earning eighth place in 4x4x4. Arnav Dev Gupta entered four disciplines, logged his first 4x4x4 attempt at 1:35.19, took 17th in 2x2x2 with a personal best of 4.97 that was 38.3 percent faster than 8.05, and lowered his Pyraminx single to 9.04, a 34.9 percent improvement over 13.88. Ruvan Kanchanam also took on four events, posting first-ever official attempts in 4x4x4 at 2:19.65 and Pyraminx at 54.16, while achieving a 16th-place finish in 2x2x2 with a personal best of 4.90, improving 32.4 percent from 7.25.

The wave of milestones continued as more competitors expanded their repertoires and shattered their previous personal benchmarks. Ved Kishore entered three events and saw massive time drops, lowering his 3x3x3 mark to 14.63 seconds, which was 37.7 percent faster than his prior 23.48, alongside a Pyraminx single of 12.34, 12.6 percent faster than 14.12, and a 2x2x2 single of 8.20, an 8.2 percent improvement from 8.93, reaching 20th place in 3x3x3. Arjun Srinath took on four events, placing eighth in Pyraminx, making his first attempt at 4x4x4 with a time of 2:03.24, and recording a 2x2x2 personal best of 4.35, 11.6 percent faster than 4.92. Daksh Lokesh Kumar entered two events, logging his first official attempt in 2x2x2 at 11.13 and cutting his 3x3x3 single to 28.12, an 11 percent improvement from 31.58. Ganesna Venkata Sriram focused on the standard cube, securing 23rd place in 3x3x3 with a personal best of 19.78 seconds, a substantial 38.6 percent drop from 32.20.

In the 2x2x2 Cube, a field of 35 competitors pushed turn speeds to the limit. Ankit A captured the victory with a rapid winning average of 2.58 seconds and a best single of 2.17 seconds. Derrick Juriel took the second step on the podium with an average of 2.87 seconds, while Reuben John Kumar added another medal to his collection by taking third place with a 3.10 average. The event saw tremendous depth throughout the field as solvers pushed for every fraction of a second.

The 4x4x4 Cube closed out the multi-event program with 26 competitors taking on the challenging four-layer puzzle. Aadhiran Thangarathan emerged victorious after two rounds, securing first place with an impressive winning average of 34.09 seconds and the round's best single of 30.65 seconds. Ankit A finished runner-up with an average of 37.26 seconds, while Reuben John Kumar collected third place with a 41.15 average. Across all four categories, Indian competitors secured all 12 available podium positions.

As the final timers were packed away, M5 Open B Bengaluru 2025 concluded having delivered exceptional drama, double gold for Kumar, and a wealth of personal milestones for emerging talent. कई नए प्रतिभागियों के लिए यह पहली WCA competition साबित हुई जहां उन्होंने शानदार शुरुआत की। K Hithesh ने पहली बार आधिकारिक मंच पर उतरते हुए 4 स्पर्धाओं में भाग लिया और 2x2x2 Cube में 8.17, 3x3x3 Cube में 33.24 और 4x4x4 Cube में 2:00.09 का समय दिया। Nivashraj Bhava ने 4 स्पर्धाएं खेलीं और 2x2x2 Cube में 15वां स्थान पाने के साथ 3x3x3 Cube में 22.51, Pyraminx में 15.85 और 4x4x4 Cube में 2:12.01 का स्कोर किया। Kaustubh Pise ने 3 स्पर्धाओं में उतरकर Pyraminx में 32.69, 2x2x2 Cube में 27.50 और 3x3x3 Cube में 1:05.22 का समय बनाया। Sathyadev Senthil ने 3 स्पर्धाओं में भाग लेते हुए Pyraminx में 19.48, 2x2x2 Cube में 16.04 और 3x3x3 Cube में 51.45 सेकंड दर्ज किए।
