A focused atmosphere settled over Mendrisio (TI), Switzerland during the weekend of September 21 to September 22, 2024. Across seven official disciplines and 18 rounds, 48 competitors stepped up to the timing mats to test their precision, calculation, and speed in an intense cubing competition.

Experienced competitors returned to top form over the two-day meet, asserting their command across multiple disciplines. Elian Beguec pushed closely behind to take second place with an average of 8.87 seconds, while Switzerland's Damiano Albini secured third place on the podium with an 8.89 average, highlighting how closely matched the top tier was throughout the 3x3 results.

The quick-fire events tested reaction speeds and puzzle mastery. In Clock, Swiss competitor Mattia Pasquini demonstrated mastery by winning the title with a 5.45 average, defeating Lukas Berruti at 6.67 and Lorenzo Mauro at 7.48. Pyraminx saw Italian competitor Loris Boldi take top honours with a winning average of 3.15 and a single of 2.17, edging Beguec's 3.65 and Giosuele Chiarella's 3.73.
