Organizers Deliver an Action-Packed Weekend at Kostelec Autumn 2025English

Inside the school dining hall at Základní škola V. Hejny, the rhythm of turning plastic and dropping timers set the tone for two full days of intense puzzle solving. The organizers, delegates, and local volunteers kept the entire program moving forward without a hitch across twenty-one rounds of play. From setting up the judging stations to scrambling puzzles and verifying scorecards, their behind-the-scenes diligence allowed thirty-nine competitors to focus entirely on their solves in Červený Kostelec, Czech Republic on November 15–16, 2025.

The smooth operation provided the foundation for a memorable cubing competition featuring eight distinct disciplines. Competitors had the chance to contest multiple stages in traditional twisty puzzles as well as specialty categories. Thanks to the efficient scheduling orchestrated by the staff, Kostelec Autumn 2025 gave participants ample opportunities to push their limits and test their preparation against top-tier regional talent.

The premier 3x3x3 Cube event drew thirty-three entrants across three rounds, culminating in a stellar performance by Matěj Grohmann. He took top honors in the final with a 7.76 average, having also posted the tournament best single of 6.48. Adam Kořínek followed in second place with an 8.25 average, while David Nesiba claimed third with a 9.44 mark. The 3x3 results highlighted the depth of the Czech field, as Grohmann maintained consistency through every stage of the classic Rubik's Cube contest.

Grohmann added another gold medal to his tally in the Megaminx event, where twenty-three competitors battled through two rounds. Grohmann led the pack with a 48.20 winning average and a best single of 46.57, holding off Veronika Pirklová, who finished as runner-up with 49.95. Jakub Pecháč of Slovakia secured the third spot on the Megaminx podium with an average of 1:01.77.

Fast-paced speedcubing was on display throughout the weekend in the short-format puzzles. Martin Kilbergr delivered a decisive victory in the 2x2x2 Cube final, winning the event with a 2.09 average alongside a 1.37 single. Jakub Jakoubek took second place with a 2.46 average, while Michal Samek finished third at 2.82. In the Pyraminx division, Matyáš Krejcárek earned first place with a 3.18 average, closely pursued by Jakub Pecháč at 3.22 and Jakub Jakoubek at 3.61. Skewb action concluded with Vojtěch Kundera on top at 3.23, besting Jakub Pecháč at 3.41 and Jakub Jakoubek at 4.79.

The broader results sheet revealed numerous personal breakthroughs away from the podium spots. Temuulen Ankhbayar cut his Pyraminx personal best down to 3.17, which was 45.3 percent faster than his prior mark, and trimmed his 3x3x3 Cube best to 11.67. Štěpán Jeništa entered five events and sliced his 2x2x2 Cube mark by 42.8 percent to 2.42, while dropping his 3x3x3 Cube single to 13.44. Patrik Cichra took on eight events and improved his Square-1 best by 38.9 percent to 28.17, finishing 11th, alongside new personal bests of 4.53 in Pyraminx and 24.86 in 3x3x3 One-Handed. Václav Moravec entered seven disciplines, earning fourth place in 3x3x3 Cube with a personal best of 7.23, a Skewb best of 3.97, and a Clock best of 7.33, which was 36 percent faster than his earlier best.

First attempts at demanding events also highlighted the weekend. Šimon Bitman took on eight events, logging his first official marks in Megaminx at 1:50.15, Square-1 at 41.14, and 3x3x3 One-Handed at 27.18. David Kopřiva competed in seven categories, registering his first Megaminx solve at 2:38.76 while carving 30.7 percent off his Clock best to hit 14.91 and lowering his 3x3x3 One-Handed mark by 28.4 percent to 56.49. Tadeáš Jan Vašut tackled eight events, placing sixth in 3x3x3 Cube while dropping his 2x2x2 Cube best by 35.5 percent to 2.11, Clock to 7.70, and Pyraminx to 3.47. Adam Kulhánek also contested eight disciplines, finishing 10th in Clock and improving his 2x2x2 Cube single by 23.5 percent to 2.28, Pyraminx to 4.54, and 3x3x3 Cube to 10.25.

Specialized events closed out the competition schedule with high drama. In 3x3x3 One-Handed, Adam Kořínek captured the title with a 15.56 average and a best single of 10.81, edging Matěj Grohmann, who averaged 15.81, and David Nesiba at 16.34. Filip Hosnedl enjoyed a double-victory weekend, winning the Clock event with a 4.35 average ahead of Jakub Pecháč and David Nesiba, and later securing the Square-1 crown with an 11.32 average over Yauheni Zviazdou and Cyril Teichmann.

Across the entire WCA competition, host nation athletes collected nineteen podium finishes, while Slovak entrants took four and Belarus earned one. The collaborative effort between tournament officials, floor staff, and competitors established Kostelec Autumn 2025 as a shining example of speed cubing excellence and smooth tournament coordination as the community looks ahead to the upcoming season.

Kostelec Autumn 2025 prověřil přesnost na každém z osmi bojišťČeština

39 závodníků zaplnilo o víkendu 15. až 16. listopadu 2025 školní jídelnu Základní školy V. Hejny v Červeném Kostelci. V disciplínách, kde o celkovém výsledku rozhodují pouhé tři pokusy bez možnosti škrtání nejhoršího času, neměl prostor ani sebemenší zádrhel. Každé drobné zaváhání na mechanice či nepřesné otočení vrstvy znamenalo okamžitý pád pořadím. Soutěžící v osmi disciplínách a 21 vypsaných kolech bojovali o setiny sekundy pod přísným dohledem časomíry a pravidel WCA competition.

Hlavní kategorii klasické Rubikovy kostky ovládl Matěj Grohmann, který ve finále zapsal vítězný průměr 7.76 sekundy a navrch přidal nejrychlejší jednotlivý čas celého klání v hodnotě 6.48 sekundy. Druhou příčku v této prestižní disciplíně obsadil Adam Kořínek s průměrem 8.25 sekundy a bronzový stupínek vybojoval David Nesiba za průměr 9.44 sekundy.

V kategorii 3x3x3 One-Handed, kde soutěžící ovládají hlavolam pouze jednou rukou, vrátil Adam Kořínek úder z hlavní disciplíny a zvítězil s průměrem 15.56 sekundy. Matěj Grohmann skončil těsně druhý s průměrem 15.81 sekundy a David Nesiba si připsal další bronz za výsledný čas 16.34 sekundy. Jednoruční skládání vyžaduje absolutní stabilitu a precizní prstoklad, což Kořínek potvrdil i nejlepším jednotlivým časem 10.81 sekundy.

Závěrečný přehled medailové bilance potvrdil dominanci domácích závodníků, když reprezentanti České republiky vybojovali devatenáct pódiových umístění, čtyři putovaly na Slovensko a jedno do Běloruska. Dvoudenní klání Kostelec Autumn 2025 v Červeném Kostelci v Královéhradeckém kraji nabídlo špičkové souboje napříč všemi koly. Celá akce ukázala vysokou technickou připravenost zúčastněných a nastavila vysoké měřítko pro další zastávky české speedcubingové scény v nadcházející sezóně.
