The cavernous corridors of Korum Mall in Thane buzzed with persistent clicking and the rhythmic thud of plastic meeting timers as the action unfolded. From May 3 to May 5, 2024, the busy retail hub in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India turned into a battleground for solvers across the nation and beyond. A massive turnout of 151 competitors descended upon the tables, eager to test their nerve across 17 events spanning 44 rounds. Enthusiasts gathered around the competition barriers to witness high-stakes turns and intense head-to-head matches throughout the three-day weekend.
The main attraction of any WCA competition is the standard 3x3x3 Cube, and this showdown delivered plenty of drama.
