Ahmet Berkalp Tarakçı Secures Dramatic 3x3 Victory at İstanbul October 2025English

Inside the bustling corridors of Metrocity Alışveriş Merkezi, the rhythmic clack of plastic pieces echoed across the tournament floor on October 11 and October 12. Competitors adjusted their timers and surveyed the tables as judges stepped into position for the concluding rounds. Forty-nine competitors gathered in İstanbul, Turkey for two packed days of head-to-head Rubik's Cube action. Across 15 rounds covering nine different disciplines, every turn of the puzzle carried weight, setting the stage for a dramatic climax in the premier event.

The tension reached its peak during the final solves of the 3x3x3 Cube, where the race for the title came down to the wire. Ahmet Berkalp Tarakçı delivered when it mattered most, recording a decisive 7.35 single on his way to an 8.43 winning average across five attempts. The late surge allowed Tarakçı to hold off Ahmet İhsan Özkan, who claimed second place with an 8.95 average, while Ömer Çetinkaya finished third with a mark of 9.09. The decisive 3x3 results crowned Tarakçı champion after three demanding rounds of competition featuring 47 entrants.
