Laerskool Horison Hosts Fast Paces and Double Gold at Inni-Horie-Fees 2024English

The school hall at Laerskool Horison hummed with constant motion as 74 competitors gathered on October 5, 2024, for a packed single-day schedule. Tables arranged across the floor became the center of focus for families, judges, and participants who filled the venue with steady clatter and focused energy. The setting in Johannesburg, South Africa provided a lively community backdrop where solving stations remained occupied from the opening scrambles to the late afternoon finals.

This edition of Inni-Horie-Fees 2024 featured three events spread across five total rounds of official action. The hall offered an intimate setting where spectators could watch top contenders operate side by side with new entrants across both short-format twisty puzzles and the classic 3x3x3 Rubik's Cube. With 74 competitors turning up, the competitive speedcubing program moved at a brisk pace throughout the tournament.

The premier 3x3x3 Cube contest drew 73 entrants across two rounds of play, testing stamina and precision. Ruben Grobler pushed hard for the top spot, earning second place with a 9.82 average, while Osman Badroodin locked in third place on the podium with a 10.88 mark in the 3x3 results.
