Indian Cube Challenge BLR 2026

The Galleria Mall hummed with intense focus and the steady click of plastic over two action-packed days as competitors gathered for a showcase of high-level puzzle solving. Solving stations saw constant rotation across multiple stages, drawing onlookers and fellow participants who followed every turn of the timer. The energy across the floor reflected months of dedicated preparation, setting a demanding standard for every discipline scheduled throughout the weekend.

Held on June 27 and June 28, the Indian Cube Challenge BLR 2026 brought together 156 competitors to contest 8 events across 17 rounds. Hosted in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, the gathering stood as a major cubing competition on the 2026 calendar. Experienced contenders quickly found their rhythm, demonstrating refined technique and composure under championship conditions.

The classic Rubik's Cube drew a deep field of 148 entrants across three rounds of intense competition. Canada's Akhil Vikram secured top honours in the event, posting a 7.11 winning average alongside a best single of 6.25. Mohith B claimed second place with a 7.26 average, while Hitesh Kumar Bhuwalka finished third at 7.66, making the final 3x3 results a showcase of razor-thin margins among seasoned hands.

Big cubes brought some of the most notable milestones of the weekend, highlighted by a record-setting performance in the 5x5x5 Cube. Hitesh Kumar Bhuwalka took victory with a 45.54 average and delivered a brilliant national record single for India of 38.60. Mohith B earned second place with 56.23, and Aadhiran Thangarathan rounded out the podium at 1:03.51 in a demanding test of efficiency and stamina.

Mohith B proved to be a dominant presence across the schedule, capturing titles in three distinct disciplines. In the 4x4x4 Cube, Mohith B took first place with a 25.92 average, finishing ahead of Hitesh Kumar Bhuwalka at 34.63 and Ankit A at 35.10. Mohith B also triumphed in 3x3x3 One-Handed with a 12.48 mark ahead of Shubham Dubey and Naren Ramesh, and topped Megaminx with a 41.33 average over Aadhiran Thangarathan and Muhammad Rayyan.

Beyond the championship podiums, personal progress defined the event for many across the roster. Utkrisht Kotnala tackled seven events at the competition, logging a first ever attempt at 4x4x4 Cube with 2:56.85, a first Clock solve of 30.09, and a debut 14.25 in Skewb. Kaushal Giriyappa Pujar entered five events, setting initial benchmarks of 4:26.70 in 5x5x5 Cube, 1:29.76 in 4x4x4 Cube, and 2:46.31 in Megaminx. Samyak Jain took on an extensive eight-event slate, establishing maiden marks of 2:05.10 in Megaminx and 2:29.80 in 5x5x5 Cube, while trimming their Skewb personal best to 6.93, a massive 46 percent improvement over their prior 12.83 standard.

The drive to expand repertoires continued across the venue floor during the WCA competition. N Agatha Marshal contested seven disciplines, recording a first Megaminx solve of 3:39.05, an inaugural 1:44.53 in 3x3x3 One-Handed, and dropping their Clock personal best by 38.7 percent to 24.51. Zion Zimmy managed seven events, securing a weekend-best fourth-place finish in 2x2x2 Cube while posting debut results of 4.00 in Skewb, 1:48.85 in 5x5x5 Cube, and 1:26.39 in Megaminx. Shishir Rao took on five disciplines, earning a 16th-place finish in 4x4x4 Cube, debuts of 4.65 in 2x2x2 Cube and 8.64 in Skewb, and a 3x3x3 Cube personal best of 8.16 that was 37.2 percent faster than their previous 13.00.

The short-format puzzles rounded out the roster with blistering pacing and technical precision. Naren Ramesh captured the 2x2x2 Cube crown with a sharp 1.71 average, edging Abhiram Sudershan at 2.14 and Mohith B at 2.30. In Skewb, Sahas Darsh Miglani topped the standings with a 2.72 average over Ritesh R Nair and Vishesh Shetty, while Abhiram Sudershan won Clock in 4.32 ahead of Ankit A and Aarush Vasanadu.

With 21 podium positions earned by competitors representing India alongside international top-three finishes from the United States and Canada, the Indian Cube Challenge BLR 2026 illustrated the depth and vibrancy of speedcubing in the region. The meeting highlighted both established talent returning to peak form and a motivated cohort taking on new challenges, providing a memorable weekend of speed cubing excellence in Bengaluru.

156 प्रतिभागियों की मौजूदगी ने इस सप्ताहांत को बेहद खास बना दिया। Bengaluru, Karnataka, India में स्थित The Galleria Mall में 27 और 28 जून 2026 को आयोजित यह दो दिवसीय स्पीडक्यूबिंग (speedcubing) टूर्नामेंट कौशल और गति का अद्भुत संगम साबित हुआ। 8 अलग-अलग श्रेणियों और 17 राउंड्स में चली इस कड़ी प्रतियोगिता में फाइनल तक का सफर तय करना किसी भी खिलाड़ी के लिए आसान नहीं था। पूरे सप्ताहांत हर राउंड में आगे बढ़ने के लिए मिलीसेकंड्स का कड़ा संघर्ष देखने को मिला।

मुख्य 3x3x3 Cube इवेंट में 148 प्रतिभागियों ने हिस्सा लिया, जिसमें फाइनल तक पहुंचने के लिए 3 बेहद चुनौतीपूर्ण राउंड रखे गए थे। Canada के Akhil Vikram ने 7.11 के शानदार औसत और 6.25 के सर्वश्रेष्ठ सिंगल के साथ पहला स्थान हासिल किया। India के Mohith B (ಮೋಹಿತ್ ಬಿ) 7.26 के औसत के साथ दूसरे स्थान पर रहे, जबकि Hitesh Kumar Bhuwalka ने 7.66 का औसत निकालकर तीसरा स्थान प्राप्त किया। इस रुबिक्स क्यूब (Rubik's Cube) मुकाबले में शीर्ष तीन खिलाड़ियों के बीच का अंतर बेहद कम रहा।

पूरे आयोजन के दौरान Mohith B (ಮೋಹಿತ್ ಬಿ) का दबदबा कई श्रेणियों में देखने को मिला। उन्होंने 4x4x4 Cube में 78 प्रतिस्पर्धियों के बीच 25.92 का विजयी औसत और 21.33 का बेस्ट सिंगल दर्ज किया। इसके अलावा 3x3x3 One-Handed में 79 प्रतिभागियों के बीच 12.48 का औसत और 9.93 का बेस्ट सिंगल निकालकर जीत दर्ज की। Megaminx में भी 52 खिलाड़ियों के बीच उन्होंने 41.33 का औसत और 35.85 का सिंगल लेकर पहला स्थान पक्का किया।

5x5x5 Cube स्पर्धा में India के Hitesh Kumar Bhuwalka ने इतिहास रचते हुए 38.60 का राष्ट्रीय रिकॉर्ड (National Record) सिंगल बनाया। उन्होंने 45.54 के औसत के साथ इस इवेंट का खिताब भी अपने नाम किया, जिसमें Mohith B (ಮೋಹಿತ್ ಬಿ) 56.23 के साथ दूसरे और Aadhiran Thangarathan 1:03.51 के साथ तीसरे स्थान पर रहे। 4x4x4 Cube के फाइनल में Hitesh Kumar Bhuwalka 34.63 के साथ दूसरे और Ankit A 35.10 के साथ तीसरे पायदान पर रहे।

नतीजों की तालिका से अलग इस क्यूबिंग प्रतियोगिता (cubing competition) में कई खिलाड़ियों ने अपने व्यक्तिगत प्रदर्शन में भारी सुधार किया। Advik Kumble ने 4 स्पर्धाओं में भाग लेते हुए Clock में 7.75 का व्यक्तिगत सर्वश्रेष्ठ समय हासिल किया, जो उनके पिछले 23.96 के समय से 67.7 प्रतिशत बेहतर रहा, साथ ही 3x3x3 Cube में 24.85 के साथ अपनी पहली आधिकारिक शुरुआत की। Yusuf Shoaib Khan ने 4 स्पर्धाओं में उतरकर 2x2x2 Cube में 3.92 का व्यक्तिगत सर्वश्रेष्ठ समय दर्ज किया जो 53.2 प्रतिशत का सुधार था, और 3x3x3 One-Handed में 58.19 का समय लेकर 30 प्रतिशत सुधार किया, जबकि Skewb में 13.00 के साथ पहली बार मुकाबला किया।

इसी तरह Rushil Joshi ने 5 श्रेणियों में खेलते हुए 4x4x4 Cube में 1:09.11 का नया व्यक्तिगत रिकॉर्ड बनाया जो 39.5 प्रतिशत बेहतर था, और 5x5x5 Cube में 2:20.41 तथा Skewb में 10.37 के साथ अपने पहले प्रयास दर्ज किए। Siddhartha Vemula ने 4 स्पर्धाओं में हिस्सा लेते हुए 3x3x3 Cube में 11वां स्थान हासिल किया, 4x4x4 Cube में 39.47 का समय देकर 29.3 प्रतिशत का सुधार किया, और 2x2x2 Cube में 4.39 तथा Megaminx में 1:19.32 के साथ नए इवेंट्स की शुरुआत की। Akshat Dubey ने 8 स्पर्धाओं में भाग लिया और 2x2x2 Cube में 3.45 का समय लेकर 21.8 प्रतिशत सुधार किया तथा 5x5x5 Cube में 2:07.69 व Skewb में 19.31 का पहला प्रयास पूरा किया, जबकि Christopher Joseph John ने 6 स्पर्धाओं में उतरते हुए Skewb में 7.15, 5x5x5 Cube में 1:56.26 और 4x4x4 Cube में 54.91 के साथ पहली बार अपनी आधिकारिक उपस्थिति दर्ज कराई।

अन्य श्रेणियों में भी रोमांचक परिणाम सामने आए। 2x2x2 Cube में 127 प्रतिस्पर्धियों के बीच Naren Ramesh ने 1.71 का विजयी औसत निकाला, जबकि Abhiram Sudershan 2.14 के साथ दूसरे और Mohith B (ಮೋಹಿತ್ ಬಿ) 2.30 के साथ तीसरे स्थान पर रहे। Clock स्पर्धा में Abhiram Sudershan ने 4.32 के औसत से जीत दर्ज की, जहां Ankit A 4.73 के साथ दूसरे और Aarush Vasanadu 6.43 के साथ तीसरे स्थान पर रहे। Skewb में Sahas Darsh Miglani 2.72 के औसत के साथ विजयी रहे।

Indian Cube Challenge BLR 2026 में पोडियम पर भारतीय खिलाड़ियों का वर्चस्व रहा, जहां देश के नाम कुल 21 पोडियम स्थान रहे, जबकि United States को 2 और Canada को 1 स्थान मिला। इस आधिकारिक WCA competition में प्रतिभागियों की मजबूत संख्या और कठिन प्रतिस्पर्धा ने प्रत्येक राउंड के महत्व को साबित किया। Indian Cube Challenge BLR 2026 बेहतरीन प्रदर्शनों और रिकॉर्ड्स के साथ सफलतापूर्वक संपन्न हुआ।
