Forty-four competitors converged on the IFMG Campus Betim for the IFMG Betim Open 2026, delivering fifteen rounds of intense speedcubing over two full days of competition. Taking place across January 17 and January 18 in Betim, Minas Gerais, Brazil, the tournament brought together puzzle enthusiasts from across the region to tackle ten distinct disciplines. From early qualification heats to Sunday afternoon finals, the gathering proved to be a vibrant WCA competition, testing everything from classic three-by-three solves to blindfolded precision.

Saturday opened the action with a broad slate of preliminary rounds and specialized single-session finals that immediately set a high standard.
