Four events brought competitors to the tables at the Instituto Federal da Bahia - IFBA Salvador on September 19, 2026. Stepping up to the timers for an official speedcubing event brings an unmistakable rush of adrenaline, especially for those experiencing the tournament environment for the very first time. Between the steady hum of turning plastic and the sudden click of hands hitting the stoppads, the one-day gathering captured the full intensity of live puzzle solving in Salvador, Bahia, Brazil.

The atmosphere of a WCA competition offers newcomers a sudden shift from casual home practice to strict inspection rules and precision timing. Surrounded by seasoned solvers and supportive peers, debutants and rising contenders quickly found their rhythm across the schedule. The gathering served as a vibrant showcase for the regional speed cubing community, demonstrating how quickly local talent continues to advance across Bahia.

At the front of the pack, the premier 3x3x3 Cube contest produced a thrilling finish at the top of the standings.
