Organizers Deliver Flawless Action at Hungarian All-Rounder 9 2025 in BudapestEnglish

Thirty-five competitors assembled on August 23, 2025, in Budapest, Hungary, tackling six diverse events across eight intense rounds of action. Behind every smooth transition between specialty disciplines at Bornemisza Péter Gimnázium stood dedicated organizers, delegates, and table volunteers who kept the schedule running like clockwork. Managing a multi-event single-day cubing competition requires meticulous staging, especially when shifting from high-speed turners to multi-cube blindfolded solving. Thanks to this hard-working crew, Hungarian All-Rounder 9 2025 gave every competitor the platform to perform at their absolute highest level throughout the full day.

The operations team made sure that equipment, scrambling tables, and electronic timers operated without a hitch from morning to late afternoon. In any WCA competition, the behind-the-scenes staff shoulder enormous responsibilities, ensuring regulations are upheld while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for every entrant. Their diligence allowed the speedcubing field to focus purely on execution across specialized formats where margins for error are razor-thin. Budapest served as the central hub for this high-energy gathering, giving players across Central Europe and beyond a premier stage to chase personal milestones and podium hardware.

Szabolcs Szántai emerged as one of the weekend standout performers, claiming top honors in two very different events. In 3x3x3 Multi-Blind, an event requiring immense concentration and memory, Szántai navigated seven cubes without sight, securing a flawless 7/7 result in 40:34 to take first place. Balázs Polyák claimed second place by solving 7 of 10 cubes in 46:10, while Bence Barát took third place with 6 of 8 cubes solved in 51:21. Szántai returned to the tables for Square-1, delivering a winning average of 12.31 alongside a round-best single of 9.40 to secure another gold for the home nation.

Bence Kiácz matched that competitive energy with brilliant solves of his own across multiple events. In the Skewb final, Kiácz clinched victory with a 3.70 winning average and a lightning-fast 2.84 single, holding off Bence Pető who took second with 4.09 and Szántai who placed third with 4.13. Kiácz also claimed a podium spot in Square-1, taking second place with a 14.05 average, finishing ahead of Canadian entrant Sebastian Virág who rounded out the top three with 14.94. The event schedule offered a showcase of versatility beyond conventional Rubik's Cube formats, rewarding well-rounded technique.

Lilla Vásárhelyi highlighted the progression hidden beneath the top ranks by cutting her Megaminx personal best by an astonishing 53.4 percent, dropping down to 2:30.96 across her three events entered to place 19th. Péter Lengyel tackled two events and made massive inroads, slicing his Skewb best by 52.1 percent to 12.88 while improving his Pyraminx mark by 30.8 percent to 7.77. Brigitta Varga delivered a fantastic performance in Skewb across her two events, cutting 46.7 percent off her previous mark down to 7.25. Gabriel Seres made large strides in Pyraminx across his two events, improving his personal best by 31.4 percent to 6.21.

Zsombor Bencsics took on four events at the tournament, logging a Skewb personal best of 7.48 that was 26.2 percent faster than his prior mark, while also recording his first ever attempt at Clock with 18.04 and a first ever attempt at Megaminx with 2:31.71 to finish 20th. Rudolf Simon tackled five events during the busy schedule, achieving a 13th-place best finish in Square-1, posting a first ever attempt at Megaminx with 1:52.38, and trimming his Pyraminx best by 24.2 percent to 7.10. Péter Zoltán Nagy rounded out the big improvements across two events, cutting his Skewb time by 24.2 percent to 12.78 and his Pyraminx best by 12.8 percent down to 9.84.

In other specialty disciplines, Gergely Novotni dominated the Megaminx event, delivering a stellar winning average of 39.11 and the event best single of 34.50. Alexander Pastirčák of Slovakia took second with a 52.59 average, while Ádám Szabó earned third in 56.34. The Clock contest proved equally thrilling as Gergő Czuczor captured first place with an average of 4.63 and a 4.10 best single. Konstantin Jaehne of Germany secured the runner-up spot with a 5.21 average, edging Cyprus competitor Ivan Valov who took third with a 5.59 average.

The Pyraminx bracket produced rapid-fire times over two rounds, culminating in a first-place finish for Bence Pető with a sharp 2.72 winning average and a 2.21 single. By the time the final scores were validated and logged, Hungarian All-Rounder 9 2025 stood as a complete success for organizers and competitors alike. Sokszínű kirakási formák és kettős siker a Hungarian All-Rounder 9 2025 viadalonMagyar

Aスピードcubing, azaz a speedcubing hazai és nemzetközi képviselői hat különleges kategóriában mérték össze felkészültségüket. A harmincöt fős mezőny nyolc fordulón keresztül küzdött az érmekért a különleges formájú és működésű mechanikus fejtörők világában. A Rubik-kocka alapjaira épülő, de merőben eltérő forgatási logikát követő eszközök sorát vonultatta fel a Hungarian All-Rounder 9 2025, ahol a tizenkét oldalú dodekaédertől kezdve az órákat ábrázoló számlapokig minden feladvány komoly technikai precizitást követelt a résztvevőktől.

A Square-1 mezőnyében ismét Szabolcs Szántai bizonyult a leggyorsabbnak, megszerezve második aranyérmét a nap folyamán 12.31-es átlaggal és 9.40-es legjobb egyes kirakással. A tizenhat indulót számláló mezőnyben Bence Kiácz ért oda a második helyre 14.05-tel, míg a kanadai Sebastian Virág a harmadik pozíciót kaparintotta meg 14.94-es átlagos eredménnyel.

Ádám Simon a harmincötödik megmérettetésén vett részt, három számban indult, és a Megaminx kirakásában 14.7 százalékos javulással 1:30.43-ra faragta egyéni legjobbját, ami a tizennegyedik helyet hozta számára.

Márton Pap ötvenharmadik tornáján Clockban 10.1 százalékos javítással 9.42-re írta át egyéni legjobbját, elérve a tizennegyedik helyet. Márton Rasek a Skewb kirakásában 6.3 százalékos fejlődést mutatva 7.05-ös személyes rekordot jegyzett. A Hungarian All-Rounder 9 2025 emellett újoncokat is avatott: Ádám Bálint élete első hivatalos versenyén indult el, ahol Pyraminxben 6.01-es, Skewbben pedig 7.26-os első kísérletet jegyzett. Áron Nedermann szintén most debütált, Pyraminxben 10.40-es első hivatalos időt ért el, Megaminxben pedig a huszonkettedik helyen fejezte be a napot.

A nap zárásaként tizenkét magyar érem mellett két szlovák, két ciprusi, valamint egy-egy német és kanadai dobogós helyezés született a nemzetközi mezőnyben. Ez a cubing competition remekül rávilágított arra, hogy a 2025 évi naptárban mekkora értéke van a különleges, nagy technikai tudást igénylő logikai kirakóknak. A Hungarian All-Rounder 9 2025 a specialista kategóriák lenyűgöző sokszínűségét és a folyamatos fejlődést állította a középpontba Budapest szívében.
