Hungarian All-Rounder 5: Star Wars 2025

Four event titles from a single day of racing told the entire story in Budapest, Hungary. When 47 competitors gathered at Bornemisza Péter Gimnázium on May 10, 2025, Alexey Tsvetkov established complete control over the schedule. Across nine separate rounds spanning six events, Tsvetkov captured four victories and added a runner-up finish to orchestrate one of the most commanding performances of the current speedcubing season. His relentless pace set the tone from the early rounds through to the decisive afternoon finals.

The premier event of the cubing competition brought 46 competitors to the tables for two rounds of classic Rubik's Cube action. In the final round of the 3x3x3 Cube, Tsvetkov secured the championship with a winning average of 6.96 seconds, supplemented by a best single of 6.44 seconds. Hungary's Dávid Szabó claimed the second position on the podium with an 8.01 average, while Alexander Pastirčák of Slovakia locked up third place with an 8.38 mark. The 3x3 results capped a high-caliber showcase in the main event.

Tsvetkov's supremacy extended far beyond the traditional puzzle. In the 3x3x3 One-Handed event, which drew a field of 36 competitors in a direct single-round battle, Tsvetkov delivered a winning average of 10.70 seconds alongside a sharp single of 7.95 seconds. Hungarian contenders Szabolcs Szántai and Benedek Zimányi followed in second and third with averages of 14.85 and 15.77 seconds, respectively. Tsvetkov proved just as formidable in the short-format events, capturing the Pyraminx title with a 2.43 average ahead of Bence Pető and Alexander Pastirčák.

The Russian speedster rounded out his quadruple-gold day by mastering the Skewb final. Through two rounds involving 33 competitors, Tsvetkov posted a tournament-best average of 3.45 seconds and a rapid single of 2.68 seconds to take the victory. Pastirčák secured another podium spot with a 4.26 average for second place, narrowly edging out Hungary's Bence Kiácz, who registered a 4.33 average for third. Tsvetkov also added a silver medal in the 4x4x4 Cube with a 29.71 average, finishing just behind Hungarian standout Gergely Novotni.

Novotni served as the primary counterweight to Tsvetkov, staging a clean sweep of the big cube categories. In the 4x4x4 Cube, Novotni topped a 35-person lineup with a winning average of 27.79 seconds and a single of 25.19, while Gábor Slezák joined him on the podium in third with 32.79. Novotni repeated his mastery on the 5x5x5 Cube, clocking a 50.81 average and a 47.80 single to defeat Bence Barát and Gábor Slezák in a 32-competitor bracket.

Beyond the fight for silverware, Hungarian All-Rounder 5: Star Wars 2025 offered ample room for personal breakthroughs across the field. Márk Benkóczy took on six events and achieved a massive personal best in the 3x3x3 One-Handed, dropping his mark to 24.49 seconds to improve by 39.4 percent while also making his first attempt at 5x5x5 Cube in 2:07.85 and Skewb in 11.72. Máté Gábor Szabados cut 36 percent off his 5x5x5 Cube personal best with a 1:53.86 solve, tackling Skewb for the first time in 6.02 seconds and Pyraminx in 10.85 seconds. Bendegúz Olivér Kocsner entered five events, slicing 28 percent off his One-Handed best with a 38.12 effort while logging his first attempts in Skewb at 9.73 and Pyraminx at 10.94.

The depth of progress continued with Fanni Réka Szily, who entered all six events, placing 23rd in the 5x5x5 Cube while recording initial career marks of 1:59.60 in the 5x5x5, 6.39 in Skewb, and 9.26 in Pyraminx. Dominik Zala registered career-first attempts across three separate events, posting 7.33 on Pyraminx, 20.16 on Skewb, and 31.28 in One-Handed to earn 24th place. Rudolf Simon improved his 3x3x3 Cube personal best by 9.1 percent down to 17.14 seconds and logged maiden attempts in 4x4x4 Cube with 1:13.43 and 5x5x5 Cube with 2:39.39. Kristóf Mag-Tokodi rounded out the highlights with a new 3x3x3 personal best of 30.39 seconds alongside debut runs in Skewb at 22.09 and Pyraminx at 15.04.

Overall podium tallies saw host nation Hungary collect 10 top-three finishes, while Russia earned five and Slovakia took three. Every round of this WCA competition showcased the broad technical range required by modern speed cubing standards. Hungarian All-Rounder 5: Star Wars 2025 brought its packed schedule to a successful finish, leaving a strong benchmark for the competitive community in Budapest and setting the stage for future events later in the 2025 calendar.

Negyvenhét versenyző lépett asztalhoz a budapesti Bornemisza Péter Gimnázium termeiben rendezett Hungarian All-Rounder 5: Star Wars 2025 viadalon, ahol összesen hat versenyszámban és kilenc fordulóban mérték össze gyorsaságukat a kirakók. A május 10-én megtartott egynapos megmérettetésen a magyar tehetségek igazi éremesőt produkáltak, hiszen a tizennyolc megszerezhető dobogós pozícióból tízet hazai versenyzők gyűjtöttek be. A nemzetközi mezőnyben Oroszország öt, Szlovákia pedig három pódiumos helyezéssel zárt.

A hagyományos 3x3x3 Rubik-kocka kirakás döntőjében Alexey Tsvetkov bizonyult a leggyorsabbnak 6.96 másodperces átlaggal és 6.44-es legjobb egyes idővel. Mögötte a magyar színeket képviselő Dávid Szabó zárt a második helyen 8.01-es átlaggal, míg a szlovák Alexander Pastirčák 8.38 másodperces eredménnyel állhatott fel a dobogó legalsó fokára. A negyvenhat indulót számláló kategória rendkívül erős mezőnyt és szoros csatákat hozott a kétfordulós küzdelem során.

A nagyobb méretű kockák versenyszámaiban Novotni Gergely parádés teljesítménnyel mindkét szám bajnoki címét elhódította. A 4x4x4-es kategóriában 27.79-es győztes átlaggal és 25.19-es legjobb kirakással végzett az élen Alexey Tsvetkov 29.71-es és Slezák Gábor 32.79-es eredménye előtt. Az 5x5x5 kocka mezőnyében Novotni 50.81-es átlaggal és 47.80-as egyéni idővel diadalmaskodott, ahol a magyar küldöttség teljes sikert aratott, hiszen Barát Bence 56.94-gyel második, Slezák Gábor 59.50-nel harmadik lett.

Az egykezes kirakás kategóriájában ismét Tsvetkov dominált, aki 10.70 másodperces átlagával és 7.95-ös kirakásával szerezte meg az első helyet. A dobogó további fokait magyar versenyzők foglalták el a harminchat fős mezőnyben, Szántai Szabolcs 14.85-ös átlaggal lett ezüstérmes, míg Zimányi Benedek 15.77-es idővel a harmadik pozíciót kaparintotta meg.

A különleges formájú kirakók versengésében sem maradtak el a kiemelkedő eredmények. Skewb versenyszámban Alexey Tsvetkov 3.45-ös átlaggal győzött, megelőzve a szlovák Alexander Pastirčák 4.26-os és a magyar Kiácz Bence 4.33-as idejét. A Pyraminx küzdelmeit szintén Tsvetkov nyerte 2.43-as eredménnyel, ahol Pető Bence 2.96 másodperccel lett második, Pastirčák pedig 3.40-nel a harmadik helyet érdemelte ki a negyvenegy indulót felvonultató két forduló után.

A Hungarian All-Rounder 5: Star Wars 2025 versenynapja rengeteg olyan egyéni sikert hozott, amelyek túlmutatnak az érmek puszta számán. Simon Ádám hat számban indult, és Skewb kategóriában 6.29 másodperces egyéni csúcsot ért el, ami 36.1 százalékos javulás a korábbi 9.84-hez képest, emellett egykezes kirakásban 18.32-re javított 11.3 százalékos előrelépéssel, 4x4x4-ben 35.29-et ért el, és a tizedik helyen zárt. Pap Gyula egykezes kirakásban 39.5 százalékot faragott le eddigi legjobbjából, és 35.98-as idővel fejezte be a fordulót, ami pályafutása huszonnyolcadik helyezését jelentette.

Számos tehetség mutatkozott be új feladatokban a budapesti WCA verseny mezőnyében. Kiss Jonatán élete első hivatalos versenyén rögtön hat számot vállalt, 5x5x5-ben 32. helyezést ért el, miközben Pyraminxben 15.33-as, Skewbben 14.61-es, 3x3x3-ban pedig 24.28-as idővel debütált. Szabó Niedermayer Botond Csaba szintén első versenyén vett részt négy számban, 3x3x3-ban 20.99-et, Skewbben 12.06-ot, míg Pyraminxben 14.84-et ért el. Bezzegi Bálint 11.09-re javította 3x3x3 rekordját húsz százalékos javulással és 8.56-tal debütált Pyraminxben, Juhász Botond 13.28-as Pyraminx és 11.15-ös Skewb idővel mutatkozott be, míg Ring László Flórián 13.37-es Pyraminx bemutatkozása mellett 22.67-re faragta le 3x3x3 legjobbját 13.7 százalékos ugrással.

A Budapest, Hungary szívében megtartott Hungarian All-Rounder 5: Star Wars 2025 a precíz felkészülésről és a sokoldalú játéktudásról szólt a 2025-ös naptári évben. A hazai közösség tagjai nemcsak a dobogós helyek többségét hódították el a nemzetközi mezőnyben, hanem kiváló egyéni időeredményekkel és bátor új próbálkozásokkal tették emlékezetessé ezt a tavaszi sporteseményt.
