A blistering 7.10 winning average in the 3x3x3 Cube propelled Gergo Zalan Molnar to the top of the standings at Hungarian All-Rounder 4: Holiday 2024. Staged at the Bornemissza Peter Gimnazium in Budapest, Hungary on July 6, 2024, the single-day WCA competition gathered 39 competitors for six rounds of intense speedcubing. The 3x3 results served as the focal point of the gathering, featuring 38 competitors across two contested rounds. Molnar was pushed all the way by David Szabo, who claimed second place overall with an average of 8.18 and a sharp 6.54 single in earlier action. Benedek Zimanyi locked up third place with an 8.70 mark, ensuring a Hungarian sweep of the podium in the classic Rubik's Cube category.

Beyond the traditional cube, speed cubing fans were treated to quick turns in the Clock event, where 29 entrants battled across one round. Benedek Szepesi-Reder delivered a clinic, securing the victory with a 5.37 average and the fastest single of the discipline at 4.16. Szabolcs Szantai finished runner-up with an average of 6.41, while David Szabo earned his second medal of the meeting by taking third in 6.87.

The big-cube and side events brought additional variety to the cubing competition schedule, led by Gergely Novotni. In the Megaminx, Novotni captured gold with a 38.37 average, well ahead of Jakub Drobny of Slovakia who took second in 47.20, and Poland's Joanna Holdakowska in third with 55.69. Gyors döntők és éles formátumok a Bornemissza Péter GimnáziumbanMagyar

Gergő Zalán Molnár 7.10 másodperces átlaggal aratott magabiztos győzelmet a 3x3x3 kirakás döntőjében, miután a mezőny egyetlen kétszakaszos versenyszámában a legjobb formáját mutatta. A budapesti eseményen a hagyományos Rubik-kocka mellett négy másik kategóriában mérkőztek meg a résztvevők, ahol a lebonyolítási rend és az egyetlen fordulós formátum azonnali pontosságot követelt minden egyes indulótól. A versenyzők nem hibázhattak a Bornemissza Péter Gimnázium asztalainál.

A 2024. július 6-án megrendezett Hungarian All-Rounder 4: Holiday 2024 elnevezésű esemény 39 versenyzőt vonultatott fel a magyar fővárosban. A programban öt versenyszám és összesen hat forduló kapott helyet, ami rendkívül tömör menetrendet eredményezett. Budapest, Hungary immár sokadik alkalommal adott otthont rangos WCA versenysorozatnak, ahol a gyorsasági kirakás szerelmesei mérték össze felkészültségüket a különböző logikai kirakósokon.

A királykategóriában, a klasszikus 3x3x3 kockán 38 induló vágott neki az első fordulónak, ahonnan csak a legjobbak léphettek tovább a fináléba. Gergő Zalán Molnár a leggyorsabb, 6.57 másodperces kirakást is felmutatta, majd a második körben elért 7.10 másodperces átlagával megszerezte az aranyérmet. Mögötte Dávid Szabó zárt a második helyen 8.18-as átlaggal, míg Benedek Zimányi 8.70-es eredménnyel állhatott fel a dobogó harmadik fokára.

A nagyobb kockák és a különleges kirakósok küzdelmei közvetlen döntőkkel zajlottak, ahol a legkisebb hiba is megbosszulta magát. Gergely Novotni kiemelkedő napot zárt, hiszen két számban is az élen végzett: a 6x6x6-os kategóriát 1:38.25-ös átlaggal nyerte Bence Barát (1:46.57) és a szlovák Jakub Drobný (2:04.00) előtt, míg a Megaminx versenyszámban 38.37-es eredménnyel győzött, megelőzve Jakub Drobnýt (47.20) és a lengyel Joanna Hołdakowskát (55.69).

A leghosszabb küzdelmet igénylő 7x7x7 kocka döntőjében Bence Barát bizonyult a leggyorsabbnak, 2:30.91-es győztes átlagot elérve, megelőzve a 2:44.00-t teljesítő Gergely Novotnit és a 3:06.00-val bronzérmes Szabolcs Szántait. A Clock versenyszámban 29 induló állt asztalhoz, ahol Benedek Szepesi-Réder 5.37 másodperces átlaggal és 4.16-os legjobb egyéni kísérlettel vitte el az első helyet Szabolcs Szántai (6.41) és Dávid Szabó (6.87) előtt.

A ranglisták mögött meghúzódó egyéni fejlődések sora tette igazán emlékezetessé a délutánt. Roland Kozma a 3x3x3 kategóriában 10.77 másodpercre javította egyéni legjobbját, ami 12.2 százalékos gyorsulást jelent a korábbi 12.26-hoz képest, megszerezve a 20. helyet. Márk Barassevich három kategóriában indult, és a Clock számban 27.72 másodperces egyéni csúcsot ért el, 7.7 százalékkal felülmúlva korábbi idejét, míg Megaminxen 2:36.12-vel a 19. helyen zárt. Brigitta Varga 33.25 másodpercre javította 3x3x3-as rekordját, amely 7.6 százalékos fejlődés, miközben Clockon 29. lett.

Róbert Báthory mind az öt kategóriában próbára tette magát, elérve a 14. helyet 7x7x7-en, a Megaminx mezőnyében pedig 6.8 százalékos javulással 1:38.90-es egyéni rekordot jegyzett. Kata Vékony a klasszikus kockánál 25.88 másodpercre faragta le legjobbját. Első WCA versenyén mutatkozott be Fülöp Takács-Muhar, aki rögtön négy számot vállalt: 6x6x6-on 3:49.12-vel 16. lett, 3x3x3-on 14.48-at, Megaminxen pedig 1:48.83-at ért el. Szintén legelső megmérettetését teljesítette a szlovák Bálint Bartoš, aki a 3x3x3-as kockán 24.04 másodperces első hivatalos kísérlettel kezdte pályafutását.

A Hungarian All-Rounder 4: Holiday 2024 végeredménye a nemzetközi mezőny jelenlétét is tükrözte: a tizenöt dobogós helyezésből tizenkettőt a hazai versenyzők szereztek meg, míg Szlovákia kettő, Lengyelország pedig egy érmet vihetett haza a 2024-es év ezen jeles fővárosi speedcubing viadalán. Az egyfordulós döntők szigorú rendszere kiválóan vizsgáztatta a versenyzők koncentrációját a budapesti tornán.
