Jingyi Dong also surged forward in the main event, cutting their 3x3x3 Cube best by 47.1 percent down to 11.95 seconds while making successful first career attempts in both 3x3x3 One-Handed at 29.21 and the 4x4x4 Cube at 56.48. Meanwhile, Yanfu Feng tackled four events, registering debut official marks of 43.36 in the 4x4x4 Cube and 19.45 in 3x3x3 One-Handed, while taking their 2x2x2 Cube best down to 3.21 seconds.

Other rising contenders demonstrated impressive versatility across the schedule. Haiqi Lu contested four events and secured a 10th-place finish in the 4x4x4 Cube with a first-ever attempt of 30.07 seconds, alongside an initial 2x2x2 Cube mark of 2.71 and an improved 3x3x3 Cube single of 7.66. Tianqi Zhan took on five different disciplines, posting a maiden Pyraminx single of 9.75, an improved 4x4x4 Cube mark of 48.41, and a 14th-place run in 3x3x3 One-Handed backed by a new personal best of 15.56. Songpu Han rounded out the standout personal milestones by logging a first 4x4x4 Cube time of 56.74, a 2x2x2 Cube best of 3.12, and a 3x3x3 Cube personal best of 12.96 seconds.

At the sharp end of the tournament, the battle for the premier Rubik's Cube crown saw world-class quality across three grueling rounds. Yiheng Wang dominated the 138-person field to capture victory with a stunning 4.97-second final average, highlighted by a best single of 3.78 seconds. Xuanyi Geng secured the runner-up spot on the podium with a 5.24 average, while Zhaokun Li took third place with a mark of 6.27. The official 3x3 results demonstrated exceptional consistency across high-pressure playoff rounds.

Yiheng Wang doubled his gold medal tally by winning the 2x2x2 Cube, delivering a blazing 1.19-second average in the final round to lead Jack Pan, who averaged 1.84, and Chenhao Ma, who recorded 2.02. In the opening round of the event, Yiheng Wang set an extraordinary single of 0.90 and an average of 1.12 seconds, setting the benchmark for a competitive 83-solver bracket. In the Pyraminx final, Zizhen Li claimed top honors with a 2.50 average, narrowly edging Yiheng Wang at 2.59 and Yanru Sun at 2.91.

Big cubes and specialty puzzles offered plenty of drama as Sheng Cao secured the 4x4x4 Cube championship. Cao finished with a winning average of 29.35 seconds, holding off Yusheng Du at 30.40 and Heyu Fu at 30.79. In 3x3x3 One-Handed, Chengnuo Han took the title with an average of 13.27 seconds, closely followed by Chenhao Ma at 13.38 and Yusheng Du at 13.44. The 3x3x3 Blindfolded event demanded precise memorisation, where Yifan Wang prevailed with a best single of 15.19 seconds ahead of Hongyu Jiang and Lingjie Xia.

When the final solve wrapped up at Harbin Open 2024, all 18 podium positions belonged to competitors representing China, reflecting great depth across the provincial speedcubing scene. 年轻的赛场新秀们同样展现了长足的进步。Qianzhuo Fu (付千卓)在二阶魔方中以2.10秒创造个人最佳单次，速度提升达37.9%，最终获得该项目第15名，三阶与金字塔成绩也分别达到10.07秒和4.25秒。Zihao Niu (牛子皓)在二阶项目中以2.28秒将个人纪录提高39.8%，三阶取得10.00秒的个人新纪录，金字塔更夺得第10名。Shiyun Jin (金时允)在此次WCA比赛中完成了生涯首次二阶项目尝试并记录下4.69秒，其金字塔成绩也以5.52秒提升了13.2%。

其他单项的冠军归属同样亮点纷呈。在需要复杂记忆的三阶盲拧项目中，15位选手登台应战，最终Yifan Wang (王逸帆)凭借15.19秒的优异单次成绩夺冠，Hongyu Jiang (姜宏禹)以35.50秒拿下亚军，Lingjie Xia (夏灵洁)以40.20秒收获季军。金字塔魔方决赛中，Zizhen Li (李子贞)以2.50秒的平均成绩和2.20秒的最佳单次问鼎，Yiheng Wang (王艺衡)以2.59秒获得亚军，Yanru Sun (孙琰茹)以2.91秒夺得季军。
