Alevio Efendi and Amy Smith Lead Personal Best Blitz at Get Another Success in Success 2024English

Twenty-four competitors gathered on February 24, 2024, at the Success Regional Sport and Community Facility in Perth, Western Australia, Australia, producing a tournament defined by sweeping individual breakthroughs. Operating across seven demanding events and nine rounds, Get Another Success in Success 2024 tested endurance across big cubes, side events, and complex blindfolded disciplines. While traditional 3x3 results often command the spotlight, this focused speedcubing meeting showcased deep progression across specialized puzzles, giving seasoned speed cubing entrants the room to push their personal benchmarks to new standards.

Big cube specialist Alevio Efendi captured double gold in the premier large-layer events, setting an impressive standard of consistency throughout the day. In the 6x6x6 Cube final, Efendi secured top honours with a winning average of 1:48.96 and a best single of 1:43.43, holding off Jonathan Charlesworth at 1:58.05 and Tyler Williams at 1:58.99. Efendi duplicated that authority in the 7x7x7 Cube contest, claiming victory with a 2:54.12 average alongside a single of 2:49.43. Williams finished second at 2:57.81, while Jeann Valdez locked down third place with a 3:06.67 mark.

The blindfolded categories offered an exceptional test of memorisation and execution under pressure, where Amy Smith delivered standout performances across two distinct events. In 3x3x3 Blindfolded, Smith seized the title behind a decisive single time of 1:03.74, outpacing Zak Kenny who clocked 1:09.19 for second, while Jonathan Charlesworth placed third in 1:58.80. Smith followed that triumph by winning 4x4x4 Blindfolded with a clean single of 3:54.15, leading Scott Adrian Meyer who completed a successful solve in 20:02.00 as other entrants succumbed to incomplete attempts.

Multi-puzzle blindfolded competition brought further drama as Lucius Leong prevailed in 3x3x3 Multi-Blind by successfully solving 6 of 7 cubes in a time of 49:24. Jonathan Charlesworth earned his second runner-up finish of the day by securing 4 out of 5 cubes in 41:26, while Scott Adrian Meyer went perfect on a smaller attempt with 2 of 2 cubes in 15:32. In the 5x5x5 Blindfolded division, Jay Wadia placed first as both registered competitors registered no complete results in a challenging single round.

The Megaminx twelve-sided puzzle rounded out the headline slate at Get Another Success in Success 2024, drawing twenty-one contenders across two complete rounds of play. James Holdsworth took the championship by averaging 43.30 in the final round, highlighted by a tournament-best single solve of 41.25. Jonathan Charlesworth finished close behind with a 44.23 average to secure yet another podium result, and Zak Kenny claimed third place on the podium with a 53.35 average.

Beyond the top steps of the podium, significant time drops highlighted the dedication across the competitor list. Elodie Smith registered a massive 29.1 percent improvement in the 6x6x6 Cube with a personal best of 3:14.48 on the way to a 13th-place finish.
