Rahul Dutta Dominates the Tables at Galleria Bangalore Cube Open A 2025English

Rahul Dutta put on a commanding display at The Galleria Mall, capturing four separate championship titles in a single afternoon of intense speedcubing. The one-day WCA competition brought together 60 competitors on June 28, 2025, in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, testing mental endurance and fine motor skill across 9 total rounds. Solving puzzles without visual guidance remains the ultimate test of pure memorisation and spatial awareness in the sport, and that same exacting concentration carried through the entire schedule of five events.

The Galleria Bangalore Cube Open A 2025 showcased Dutta operating at the peak of his form across a variety of disciplines. In the 3x3x3 Cube event, he secured victory with a decisive winning average of 9.51 seconds across two rounds, also posting the event best single solve of 8.56 seconds. In the 3x3x3 One-Handed event, which challenges solvers to manipulate the standard Rubik's Cube with only five fingers, Dutta once again took the top spot with an 18.47 average and an opening round best single of 17.39 seconds. Vivek Prasad Mada pushed him close, taking second place with an 18.79 average, while Ashvand Sathyajith collected another podium appearance by taking third place with a mark of 19.07 seconds among 37 entrants.
