Leo Borromeo delivered a masterclass at Robinsons Place Dumaguete, capturing the premier 3x3x3 Cube title with a blazing 5.91 average and a single solve of 4.92 seconds. Across ten rounds of action on November 25, 2023, the Dumaguete Cube Rendezvous 2023 served as a dynamic proving ground in Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental, Philippines. A field of 27 competitors assembled for the one-day WCA competition, with seasoned champions sharing tables with an influx of emerging solvers taking their earliest steps in organized play.

The 3x3 results formed the centerpiece of the tournament, requiring three full rounds to determine the podium. Borromeo set an unassailable pace from the start, outperforming Ace Christian C. Wong, who finished second with an average of 9.12 seconds, and Miguel Gonzaga, who took third with a mark of 9.42. The classic Rubik's Cube demonstrated the high level of speedcubing skill present in the region, providing a high-energy contrast to the heavy contingent of competitors logging their first official attempts across varied categories.

Beyond his main event triumph, Borromeo collected two additional victories on the day. In the 3x3x3 One-Handed event, Borromeo topped a field of 13 competitors with a winning average of 14.61 seconds and a best single of 11.31, ahead of Kenneth Mathew F. In the 4x4x4 Cube, Borromeo secured his third gold with an average of 25.74 seconds, once again followed by Halago in second with 36.90 and Gonzaga in third with 38.25.
