Gaurav Kher Claims 3x3 Victory at Delhi Cube Challenge 2025English
Sixty-four competitors gathered at GMR Aerocity for Delhi Cube Challenge 2025, bringing high-stakes speedcubing across seven events and thirteen rounds to New Delhi, Delhi, India. While classic pen-and-paper events like Fewest Moves demand long, quiet concentration and methodical scrutiny away from rapid-fire turning, the fast-paced format at this WCA competition favored immediate reflexes and razor-sharp execution. Over November 29 to November 30, 2025, the tournament floor highlighted explosive speed across tables, contrasting the deliberate mental calculation of puzzle analysis with pure split-second mechanical prowess.
The premier 3x3x3 Cube contest drew a massive field of 55 participants over three intense rounds. When the 3x3 results were tallied, Gaurav Kher captured the championship title, piecing together a stellar 7.56-second winning average alongside a best single solve of 6.93 seconds. Fouzan Zayn provided tight pressure to lock down second place with a 7.97 average, while Kunal Oak secured third on the podium with an 8.04 average. The contest delivered standard-setting Rubik's Cube mastery under tournament conditions.

Pratik Khanna took second place with a 14.91 average, followed by Ojas Nimaje in third place at 15.91. The single-handed event highlighted technical balance and fingertrick control, adding another layer of physical dexterity to the weekend schedule.
In the shortest format of the meet, the 2x2x2 Cube featured 50 competitors battling through two rounds. Aniket Ahuja topped the podium with a blindingly fast 1.76-second average, anchored by a best single of 1.14 seconds. Ayaan Kapur earned second place with a 2.29 average, edging Shrey Relan, who posted an identical 2.29 average to claim third place. The lightning-fast turns produced razor-thin margins throughout the round.
Beyond the podium finishes, the under-the-radar performances formed the heart of Delhi Cube Challenge 2025 as competitors achieved substantial leaps in personal capability. Apoorv Kashyap tackled three events, making a first ever attempt at 2x2x2 Cube with a time of 2.59 seconds, while posting a 3x3x3 Cube personal best of 24.83 seconds that was 63 percent faster than his previous mark, alongside a Pyraminx personal best of 8.70 seconds, 47.7 percent faster.
