A mere 0.30 seconds covered the entire top three in the Pyraminx final, highlighting the fierce precision on display at the Delacuesta Xmas 2025. Across two days of high-intensity speedcubing, 27 competitors gathered at the Centro comercial Delacuesta in Piedecuesta, Santander, Colombia, tackling 12 events through 21 rounds. Jerónimo Espinosa claimed the Pyraminx crown with a winning average of 3.81 seconds, edging out Nicolas Romero at 4.06 seconds and Cristian Castellanos Guevara at 4.11 seconds. With every turn requiring instantaneous execution, the podium battle set a dramatic tone for the holiday gathering.

Held across December 27 and December 28, the cubing competition delivered extraordinary variety alongside its razor-thin margins. While the triangular puzzle provided the closest podium race, the classic 3x3x3 Rubik's Cube drew major attention throughout three grueling rounds. Cristian Castellanos Guevara emerged at the top of the 3x3 results, registering an impressive winning average of 9.00 seconds and a round-best single solve of 7.45 seconds. Brayan Alexander Sandoval Camacho took second place with a 10.47 average, followed closely by Juan Sebastián Lozada Rodríguez at 10.60.

Beyond the flagship solve, Castellanos Guevara mounted one of the most prolific multi-event campaigns seen all season. He captured seven individual victories across the weekend schedule, demonstrating remarkable versatility. In the 3x3x3 One-Handed event, he locked down gold with a 13.25 average, finishing ahead of Sandoval Camacho's 16.55 and Juan Manuel Gutiérrez Vecino's 19.03. His single-handed execution featured a sharp 12.14 single solve, cementing his control over the table in Piedecuesta, Santander, Colombia during this memorable 2025 meeting.

Castellanos Guevara extended his dominance to the larger puzzles and specialty events at Delacuesta Xmas 2025. He took first place in the 4x4x4 Cube with a 37.97 average, besting Lozada Rodríguez and Sandoval Camacho. He followed with commanding wins in the 5x5x5 Cube, where he posted a 1:07.08 average, and the 6x6x6 Cube, finishing in 2:22.97. He also claimed the top step in Megaminx with an average of 1:02.88, leading Gabriel Enrique Amaya Puello and Espinosa, before rounding out his haul by winning Square-1 in 17.93 seconds ahead of Aider Santiago Lizarazo Calderon and Espinosa.

Away from the top of the podium, several competitors delivered breakthrough milestones that defined the depth of the field. Jose Estiben Jaimes Briceño tackled nine separate events, recording a new personal best of 4.36 seconds in Pyraminx to improve by 32.5 percent, while logging his first official career attempts in both 3x3x3 Fewest Moves with 62 moves and 5x5x5 Cube in 3:31.37.
