Throughout the competition, contenders pushed their personal limits, demonstrating how rapidly new solvers adapt to the pressure of an official WCA competition. The energy across all five disciplines set a competitive tone from the initial morning rounds to the finals.

The 3x3x3 Cube contest drew 43 competitors across three rigorous rounds. In the final round, Darsh claimed victory with a winning average of 11.27 seconds, backed by a best single of 9.40 seconds. Shourya Upadhyay secured the runner-up spot with an average of 12.48, while Atharv Gulati rounded out the podium in third place at 12.67. The 3x3 results highlighted tight margins among the leading contenders in the flagship event.

Gaurav Kumar delivered a standout showing across multiple short-format events, capturing titles in both 2x2x2 Cube and Pyraminx. In the 2x2x2 Cube final, Gaurav Kumar topped the 40-competitor field with an average of 2.27 seconds and a best single of 1.63 seconds. Gaurav Bachani placed second with a 3.48 average, followed by Darsh in third at 4.29 seconds after two competitive rounds of play.

Gaurav Kumar returned to the center table for Pyraminx, taking first place among 31 entrants with a winning average of 4.23 seconds and a sharp 2.42 single. Syed Shahan Ali finished second with an average of 5.91 seconds, while S Sai Rohan took third place at 6.09 seconds. The fast-paced category delivered another clear demonstration of clean execution and swift turning.

Beyond the podium battles, several participants made substantial progress across the schedule. Ayush Saha entered five events, recording an initial attempt of 17.15 seconds in Skewb, a first mark of 2:11.08 in 4x4x4 Cube, a best finish of 11th in Skewb, and a 2x2x2 Cube personal best of 4.91 seconds that was 69.4 percent faster than before. Bhavya Jain tackled five events, logged a first 4x4x4 Cube attempt of 2:04.28, placed 5th in Skewb, and dropped their Pyraminx best by 69 percent to 3.80 seconds alongside a 61.6 percent drop to 7.43 in 2x2x2 Cube. Usha Kiran Agrawal took on five events, registering a first Skewb time of 36.68, an 18th-place finish in 4x4x4 Cube, and cuts to 13.97 in 2x2x2 Cube and 15.30 in Pyraminx. Sandhya Agrawal completed four events, posting first-ever official marks of 15.02 in Pyraminx, 10.16 in 2x2x2 Cube, and 11.53 in Skewb on the way to 12th place.

Bhavya Relwani stepped up for five events, logging an initial 4x4x4 Cube result of 1:52.49, finishing 8th in Pyraminx, and posting personal bests of 7.61 in Skewb and 11.04 in 3x3x3 Cube, improving those marks by 53.1 percent and 47 percent respectively. Ayaan Khan contested two events, achieving a first 2x2x2 Cube attempt of 3.81 seconds and a 3x3x3 Cube best of 18.21, which shaved 43.8 percent off their previous standard. Maanvik Panjwani completed three events to take 5th place in 2x2x2 Cube while dropping their 3x3x3 Cube best by 55.1 percent to 12.76 seconds, their 2x2x2 Cube best to 5.09, and their Pyraminx time to 11.82. Ojas Pandey competed in two events, recording a first 2x2x2 Cube time of 5.96 seconds, placing 12th in 3x3x3 Cube, and improving their 3x3x3 Cube mark by 31.4 percent to 13.31 seconds.

The remaining puzzle categories produced equally exciting moments for the speed cubing roster in Raipur. In the 4x4x4 Cube event, Ghanshyam Sahu won the single-round contest with an average of 44.18 seconds and a best single of 38.28 seconds, outpacing Shourya Upadhyay at 49.88 and Gaurav Bachani at 55.49. In Skewb, S Sai Rohan earned top honors with a 5.99 average and a 2.85 single, finishing ahead of Gaurav Kumar at 6.16 and Shourya Upadhyay at 6.27.

All fifteen podium positions at Cubing Returns Raipur 2024 were claimed by competitors representing India, underscoring the depth of local talent in the region. इसके साथ ही पहली बार मंच पर उतरे नए खिलाड़ियों ने भी प्रभावशाली प्रदर्शन किया। Varun Nagdev ने अपने पहले टूर्नामेंट में 5 स्पर्धाओं में भाग लिया, जिसमें 4x4x4 Cube में 20वां स्थान (3:30.25), Skewb में 16.92 और Pyraminx में 17.81 का पहला प्रयास शामिल था। Dhairya Bihani ने 4 स्पर्धाओं में भाग लेते हुए 4x4x4 Cube में 3:23.40 के साथ 19वां स्थान, 2x2x2 Cube में 5.00 और Pyraminx में 10.56 दर्ज किया। Veeram Dakaliya ने 2x2x2 Cube में 16.15, Pyraminx में 10.40 और Skewb में 24.21 का पहला प्रयास किया। Arham Jain ने 4 स्पर्धाओं में कदम रखा और Skewb में 36.86, 3x3x3 Cube में 1:02.82 तथा Pyraminx में 22.12 का स्कोर बनाया।
