Forty-six competitors gathered on December 9, 2023, stepping into the tournament hall at Vilhelm Bjerknes' hus for a packed day of twisting puzzles. For many stepping into the arena in Oslo, Norway, the occasion marked a pivotal milestone in their journey. A debut appearance at an official WCA competition offers an electric mix of nerves and excitement as competitors face the inspection timer for the very first time. Walking up to the solving station, placing hands on the timer mat, and managing race-day adrenaline transforms solitary practice into an unforgettable live experience.
The atmosphere at Cubing Portal Oslo 2023 was charged with energy across eight distinct rounds of action spanning four classic disciplines.
