In an event where sight is completely removed and every move relies on precise memorisation, Rodrigo Ángeles Montes de Oca delivered the standout single of the competition. Solving without visual feedback in 3x3x3 Blindfolded, Ángeles Montes de Oca stopped the timer at an impressive 58.76 seconds. That sub-minute performance secured him first place in the discipline, outpacing fellow Mexican competitors Samuel Hernandez Castro, who finished second with a time of 1:02.65, and Luis Antelmo Perez Cabrera, who took third in 4:19.97 across two demanding rounds at Hacienda Los Cues.
