Cubing ATMOSphere 2025

In an arena where split seconds define supremacy, Sambhav Bhalla delivered the most striking result of the weekend by capturing the flagship 3x3x3 Cube title with an 8.94 average. Held at BITS Pilani, Hyderabad Campus across November 8 and November 9, 2025, Cubing ATMOSphere 2025 brought 85 competitors together for an intense showcase of dexterity and intellectual calculation. Across 18 rounds and 9 events, the tournament provided a vivid counterpoint between the silent, analytical discipline of deep problem solving and the furious turns of high-speed solving in Hyderabad, Telangana, India.

While methodical analysis underpins the craft, speedcubing thrives on unrelenting momentum. Across the three rounds of the classic Rubik's Cube, Sambhav Bhalla held off formidable pressure, putting together a best single of 8.49 on his way to first place. Harsh Arvind Shelwatkar finished in second place with a 9.21 average, while Akshaansh Chilakapati secured third on the podium with a 9.56 average. The 3x3 results capped a weekend of fierce head-to-head racing that engaged a 76-player field in the main event.

Akshaansh Chilakapati put together a dominant multi-discipline performance, taking gold across three separate puzzles. Chilakapati captured the 4x4x4 Cube crown with a 32.34 average and a 25.29 single, finishing ahead of Harsh Arvind Shelwatkar at 38.22 and Arnit Rawat at 40.11. He carried that control directly into the 5x5x5 Cube, where he registered an average of 59.71 and a single of 54.54, and topped the Megaminx podium with a 50.10 mark, outpacing Etta Jaswanth Akhil at 1:10.25 and Anish Sanjay Badithe at 1:11.75.

Single-hand technique and memory-based execution added further contrast to the competition schedule. In 3x3x3 One-Handed, Harsh Arvind Shelwatkar demonstrated precision handling to claim victory with an 11.27 average and a 10.81 best single, leading Chilakapati and Badithe. In 3x3x3 Blindfolded, where complete memorisation is required before solvers lower their blindfolds, Abhijeet Ghodgaonkar took the top spot with a best single of 50.95. Gaurav Bachani placed second with a 56.32 single, and Dattatreya Chodavarapu earned third with a 1:00.56 effort.

The shorter formats generated intense finishes on the stage. Adyant Anant triumphed in the 2x2x2 Cube with a 2.85 average, edging Aksha Shrivastav at 3.08 and Shlok Mongia at 3.61. Panji Thaman navigated two rounds of Pyraminx to earn the championship with a 4.06 average over Sai Deepak Kalla and Abhilash Kasina. In Skewb, Udayan Latha Ramamurthi secured first place with a 5.18 average, narrowly besting Mongia at 5.36 and Chilakapati at 5.43 in a tight final.

Behind the top steps of the podium, several participants produced remarkable personal milestones across their events. Tanuj Sutar tackled four disciplines, logging a first ever attempt at Skewb with an 8.42, an initial Pyraminx mark of 7.59, and an enormous 2x2x2 Cube personal best of 3.21 that was 85.4 percent faster than his prior 21.95. Sai Nishanth Bacchu entered three events, recording his first ever attempt at 3x3x3 Cube at 21.42 while trimming his 2x2x2 Cube best by 61 percent to 4.39 and his Pyraminx best by 52.5 percent to 8.38. Vihaan Jaiswal completed his first ever attempt in both 2x2x2 Cube at 13.36 and Pyraminx at 16.82, alongside a 36 percent improvement to 57.31 in the 3x3x3 Cube.

Other competitors similarly expanded their repertoire across complex brackets at this cubing competition. Seelam Prathinav Reddy took on five events, achieving a best finish of 9th in 2x2x2 Cube, logging a first Skewb attempt of 6.25, and slashing his 3x3x3 One-Handed personal best by 53.4 percent down to 29.78. Pranav Cheguri mounted first-time attempts in three separate events: 4x4x4 Cube in 1:07.26, 3x3x3 Blindfolded in 2:45.72, and 3x3x3 One-Handed in 31.51. Mayank Kulkarni contested four disciplines, achieving a best finish of 21st in Megaminx while posting his first ever attempts in One-Handed at 25.83, Megaminx at 2:57.39, and 4x4x4 Cube at 1:25.99. Druhin Bommisetti secured 16th in 5x5x5 Cube with a debut 1:49.17 while lowering his One-Handed mark by 33.1 percent to 19.48, and Someshwar Thatipally completed six events, earning a 15th-place best finish in Megaminx, debuting in One-Handed at 27.35, and dropping his 4x4x4 Cube best by 33.1 percent to 1:04.46.

With Indian competitors sweeping all 27 podium positions across nine official disciplines, this WCA competition proved the depth of talent emerging from the local speed cubing community. Cubing ATMOSphere 2025 offered an expansive weekend of technical mastery, leaving every entrant with clear benchmarks as they prepare for the upcoming regional circuit.

हैदराबाद में आयोजित प्रतियोगिता में Akshaansh Chilakapati ने एक ही सप्ताहांत में तीन अलग-अलग श्रेणियों में जीत दर्ज करके सबका ध्यान अपनी ओर खींच लिया। उन्होंने 4x4x4 Cube में 32.34 का औसत, 5x5x5 Cube में 59.71 का औसत और Megaminx में 50.10 के औसत के साथ पहला स्थान हासिल किया। इस बहुआयामी प्रदर्शन ने साबित कर दिया कि विभिन्न आकार और प्रकार की पहेलियों पर एक साथ महारत हासिल की जा सकती है। इसके अलावा उन्होंने 3x3x3 One-Handed में 17.10 के औसत के साथ दूसरा और 3x3x3 Cube में 9.56 के औसत के साथ तीसरा स्थान भी हासिल किया।

हैदराबाद के BITS Pilani परिसर में 8 और 9 नवंबर 2025 को आयोजित Cubing ATMOSphere 2025 में स्पीडक्यूबिंग के कई प्रारूपों की शानदार विविधता देखने को मिली। इस क्यूबिंग प्रतियोगिता में कुल 85 प्रतिस्पर्धियों ने भाग लिया और 9 अलग-अलग स्पर्धाओं के 18 राउंड्स में अपनी गति का प्रदर्शन किया। पारंपरिक 3x3x3 रूबिक्स क्यूब से लेकर बारह फलकों वाले Megaminx, Skewb और Pyraminx तक, हर वर्ग के मुकाबलों ने खेल की जटिलता और विविधता को दर्शकों के सामने प्रस्तुत किया।

मुख्य 3x3x3 Cube स्पर्धा में कुल 76 प्रतिभागियों ने तीन राउंड्स के दौरान कड़ा मुकाबला किया। फाइनल में Sambhav Bhalla ने 8.94 के बेहतरीन औसत और 8.49 के सर्वश्रेष्ठ सिंगल समय के साथ खिताबी जीत दर्ज की। Harsh Arvind Shelwatkar ने 9.21 का औसत निकालकर दूसरा स्थान प्राप्त किया, जबकि Akshaansh Chilakapati 9.56 के साथ तीसरे स्थान पर रहे। तीन राउंड्स तक चले इस कांटे के मुकाबले में शीर्ष खिलाड़ियों के बीच सेकेंड के दसवें हिस्से की लड़ाई देखने को मिली।

एक हाथ से क्यूब हल करने की अनूठी चुनौती 3x3x3 One-Handed स्पर्धा में Harsh Arvind Shelwatkar ने शानदार कौशल दिखाया और 11.27 का विजयी औसत बनाकर पहला स्थान झटका। उनका सर्वश्रेष्ठ सिंगल 10.81 रहा। वहीं आँखों पर पट्टी बांधकर क्यूब को याद करके हल करने की कठिन 3x3x3 Blindfolded स्पर्धा में Abhijeet Ghodgaonkar (अभिजीत घोडगावकर) ने 50.95 के सर्वश्रेष्ठ सिंगल समय के साथ जीत दर्ज की, जबकि Gaurav Bachani 56.32 के साथ दूसरे और Dattatreya Chodavarapu 1:00.56 के साथ तीसरे स्थान पर रहे।

छोटे और तेज प्रारूपों में भी रोमांच चरम पर रहा। 2x2x2 Cube के तीन राउंड्स के बाद Adyant Anant ने 2.85 के औसत और 2.60 के सिंगल के साथ पहला स्थान प्राप्त किया। दूसरे स्थान पर Aksha Shrivastav 3.08 के औसत के साथ और तीसरे स्थान पर Shlok Mongia 3.61 के औसत के साथ रहे। Pyraminx स्पर्धा में Panji Thaman ने 4.06 के औसत और 2.88 के सिंगल के साथ शीर्ष स्थान हासिल किया, जबकि Skewb स्पर्धा में Udayan Latha Ramamurthi ने 5.18 के औसत और 3.88 के सिंगल के साथ जीत हासिल की।

मुख्य परिणामों से अलग इस सप्ताहांत कई खिलाड़ियों ने अपने खेल के स्तर में जबरदस्त सुधार दर्ज किया। Sushreeth Peddoju ने 3x3x3 Cube में 13.91 का व्यक्तिगत सर्वश्रेष्ठ समय हासिल किया जो उनके पिछले समय से 57.5 प्रतिशत तेज था। Arjun Polasa ने पाँच स्पर्धाओं में भाग लिया और 3x3x3 One-Handed में 30.92 का व्यक्तिगत सर्वश्रेष्ठ बनाकर 25.8 प्रतिशत का सुधार किया, साथ ही Skewb में 22.64 का अपना पहला प्रयास पूरा किया। Thakur Aryan Singh ने Skewb में 12.58 के समय के साथ 41.2 प्रतिशत का सुधार दर्ज किया और Pyraminx में 9.44 के साथ 25.2 प्रतिशत तेज रहे। Aayush Kasina ने Pyraminx में 13.20 का पहला आधिकारिक समय दर्ज किया और 3x3x3 Cube में 11.5 प्रतिशत सुधार के साथ 47.91 का समय निकाला।

कई नवागंतुकों के लिए यह पहला आधिकारिक WCA competition साबित हुआ जहाँ उन्होंने विभिन्न पहेलियों को पहली बार मंच पर आजमाया। Bhavika Singhal ने छह स्पर्धाओं में भाग लेते हुए Pyraminx में 15.33, 2x2x2 Cube में 8.04 और 3x3x3 Cube में 21.13 का अपना पहला प्रयास सफलतापूर्वक पूरा किया। Barry Venkata Sai Harsha ने चार स्पर्धाओं में हिस्सा लेकर 5x5x5 Cube में 24वां स्थान पाया और 4x4x4 Cube में 1:22.02 का समय दर्ज किया। Arkaprabha Mandal ने अपने चार स्पर्धाओं के अभियान में 3x3x3 Cube में 15.90 और 2x2x2 Cube में 6.09 का समय हासिल किया, जबकि Ala Prasuna ने तीन स्पर्धाओं में भाग लेकर 3x3x3 Cube में 1:32.50 का समय दर्ज किया।

Hyderabad, Telangana, India में आयोजित Cubing ATMOSphere 2025 ने दो दिनों तक विभिन्न प्रकार की पहेलियों और गति का अद्भुत समागम पेश किया। सभी 27 पोडियम स्थान भारतीय खिलाड़ियों के नाम रहे, जिससे इस क्षेत्र में खेल के बढ़ते स्तर की झलक मिली। पहेलियों की व्यापक विविधता, व्यक्तिगत रिकॉर्ड्स की झड़ी और नए खिलाड़ियों की सक्रिय भागीदारी के साथ यह सप्ताहांत सफलतापूर्वक संपन्न हुआ।
