Juan Emmanuel Rodelo Orozco delivered one of the standout performances in Barranquilla, Atlantico, Colombia, capturing the Square-1 title with a winning average of 19.65 seconds and a sharp single solve of 14.68. On February 8, 2025, Centro Comercial Brazuca hosted a full day of action across five distinct disciplines. In technical, sequence-heavy formats, every split second carries immense weight, where the slightest misstep in turning accuracy or alignment can ruin an entire round. Rodelo Orozco kept his solves exceptionally steady to lead the four-competitor field from start to finish.

Brazuca al Cubo I 2025 brought together 19 competitors for nine rounds of intense speedcubing. The gathering in Barranquilla highlighted both local masters and emerging talents pushing their personal boundaries across a variety of twisty puzzles. While formats with five attempts offer a buffer to discard a worst time, every round still demanded precision. Across all events, Colombian competitors swept every podium spot available, demonstrating high standards in solving efficiency and poise under the timer in the 2025 season.

In the classic 3x3x3 Rubik's Cube, Sergio Andres Guillen Ibarra claimed the top step of the podium across three hard-fought rounds. Guillen Ibarra produced a winning average of 9.80 seconds in the final, bolstered by a best single solve of 8.24. The 3x3 results remained tight down to the final turns, with Eladio Andrés Molina Lopez securing second place with a 10.07 average and Rey Danilo Florez earning third place at 10.58. Guillen Ibarra was the sole competitor in the 19-person field to finish with a sub-10-second average in the deciding round.

Martin Fernando Velilla Garcia enjoyed an exceptionally strong competition, securing victories in two separate disciplines. In the 2x2x2 Cube, Velilla Garcia navigated a 18-competitor field across two rounds, clinching first place with a 3.69 final average and a best single of 3.05. Sergio Andres Guillen Ibarra followed closely in second place with a 4.77 average, while Rey Danilo Florez rounded out the podium in third with 5.18. Velilla Garcia maintained remarkable turning speed throughout, keeping his solves smooth and consistent when pressure mounted.

Rey Danilo Florez collected his second runner-up finish of the day with an 8.43 average, while Rey David Florez took third step on the podium with 8.69. The margin between first and third was under a second, illustrating how critical rapid corner-turning execution was on the day.

Beyond the championship battles, several athletes delivered remarkable breakthroughs that the final podium standings often conceal. Arlés Alberto Molinares Marrero entered four events and made significant strides across the board, setting a 2x2x2 personal best of 6.46 seconds that was 58.2 percent faster than his previous mark of 15.45, alongside a 3x3x3 personal best of 32.29 that improved upon his prior best by 24.8 percent.
