Ianis Costin Chele of Romania delivered a commanding performance in the 3x3x3 Cube final at Belgrade Summer 2023, capturing gold with a decisive 6.91 average and a weekend-best single solve of 6.26 seconds. The victory anchored a dominant international showing in the Serbian capital, where competitors from Romania and Hungary swept the top positions across all ten events on the schedule. Held across August 5 and August 6 in Belgrade, Serbia, the two-day cubing competition brought together 63 competitors at the Mathematical Grammar School for 18 rounds of high-level Rubik's Cube action.

The 3x3 results formed the centerpiece of an intense duel between Chele and Hungary's Gergely Novotni. In the marquee 3x3x3 Cube event, Novotni followed Chele to take second place with an 8.34 average, while Stefan Šebez secured third place for Serbia with a 9.31 mark. The podium standings highlighted the strength of visiting delegations throughout the weekend, with Romania capturing 9 podium finishes, Hungary claiming 8, and host nation Serbia matching with 8 top-three placements across the tournament program.
