Organizers Deliver an Action-Packed Bavarian Open 2023 as Twan Dullemond DominatesEnglish
Inside the Ilmtalhalle in Reichertshausen, Germany, the hum of turning layers, the steady rhythm of tournament stopwatches, and the constant flow of scorecards set the tone for three days of high-caliber speedcubing. From November 3 to November 5, 2023, the sports hall served as the meeting ground for 140 competitors tackling 10 separate events across 20 rounds of play. Running an operation of this magnitude required seamless coordination from the dedicated team of organizers, WCA delegates, and station volunteers who managed scramble tables, judging lanes, and result entries without missing a beat.
The meticulous work behind the scenes allowed the full spectrum of puzzles to shine throughout the weekend. From the classic Rubik's Cube to towering big cubes and specialized disciplines, the schedule was designed to give every entrant maximum opportunity to compete.
