Specialists Shine on the Side Stage at Bangkok Summer 2024English
A blistering 3.74 average on Clock by Jaidon Poraminthara Lin set the tone for a tournament that celebrated precision across every discipline. The single-day Bangkok Summer 2024 gathering brought 88 competitors to True Digital Park on June 9, 2024, delivering nine rounds of top-tier speedcubing in Bangkok, Thailand. While traditional Rubik's Cube categories drew massive fields, the niche puzzles took centre stage with jaw-dropping execution and razor-thin margins throughout the afternoon.
The Clock event featured three full rounds of intense turning, narrowing a field of 48 entrants down to an elite final. Jaidon Poraminthara Lin captured first place for the USA behind that 3.74 winning average and an event-best single solve of 2.64. Thailand took the remaining podium spots, with Yindee Wattanawong securing second place on a 5.34 average and Jirapat Saekhwo rounding out the top three with an average of 5.99.
Skewb action proved equally demanding across its two rounds of play, engaging 51 contenders in rapid corner-turning battles.
