The sports hall at Palestra Comunale echoed with the rhythmic clatter of plastic faces turning at breakneck speed across two intense days of action. In Giano Dell'Umbria, Italy, the atmosphere inside the hall was charged with nervous energy and quiet focus as timers flashed green and hands flew across tables. Held across June 13 and June 14, B-Game - Bastardo Open 2026 brought together an energetic field of 37 competitors tackling 18 separate rounds across 7 official events, setting a high standard for speedcubing in the region.

A defining theme of B-Game - Bastardo Open 2026 was the sheer presence of fresh faces stepping up to the solving stations. For many in attendance, the tournament offered a vital first taste of an official cubing competition under World Cube Association regulations. New competitors and those early in their careers took their positions alongside seasoned veterans, transforming the hall into a proving ground where breakthrough single times and newly logged averages carried as much weight as the fight for top honors.

The spotlight shone brightly on several determined competitors who turned in remarkable personal breakthroughs away from the podium spotlight.
