Gabriel Muñoz Garcia set the tone at Centro Comercial Avenida Chile by capturing the classic 3x3x3 Cube title with a clinical 8.25 winning average and a round-best 7.26 single. Solvers travelled across the high-altitude capital to converge at Bogotá, Colombia on May 18, 2025, turning the bustling commercial venue into a hive of high-stakes speedcubing. The one-day gathering drew 80 competitors who packed the tables across 11 rounds of action in 5 different events, highlighting the enduring passion of the Colombian speed cubing community.

The journey across the city proved especially fruitful for Dereck Samuel Marin Suarez, who walked away as the standout multi-event star of the weekend. Marin Suarez first dominated the 2x2x2 Cube event, conquering a field of 53 competitors with an average of 2.37 and a 1.91 single. He then carried that sharp form directly into the mechanical Clock event, winning his second gold of the day with an average of 5.31 and a low single of 4.62.

The main event, the Rubik's Cube, brought 76 competitors to the floor across three testing stages before culminating in a gripping final. Muñoz Garcia took the top spot on the podium ahead of Manuel Popayán, who secured second place with a 9.10 average. Thomas Cabezas rounded out the top three by finishing with a 9.52 mark, completing an all-Colombian podium sweep and putting the official 3x3 results at the absolute centre of the competition's narrative.

Jacob Goossens Celis earned the silver medal with a 3.04 average, edging out Manuel Francisco Beltrán, who took third with a 3.11 average. In the Clock event, Shanty Rodríguez posted a strong 5.87 average to secure second place, followed closely by Cristhian Damián Fernández Pineda in third with an average of 5.94 over the final five solves.
