Across three rounds of classic Rubik's Cube action at Folkets hus in Nol, Emanuel Schelin secured the main title with a blistering 6.84 final average, holding off Frank Lindblom by mere fractions of a second as the deciding solves locked into place. The tense finale concluded two days of high-caliber speedcubing that brought together 38 competitors across 12 distinct events and 21 rounds of competition in Nödinge-Nol, Sweden.
The gathering in western Sweden running February 7 to February 8 highlighted an intense rivalry at the top of the standings between Schelin and Jensen throughout 2026. The versatile competitor captured first place in five separate disciplines, showcasing his mastery on both traditional polyhedral puzzles and larger cubes. In the 4x4x4 Cube, Jensen produced a winning 25.74 average to lead Lindblom at 33.97 and Schelin at 34.22. He maintained that pace in the 5x5x5 Cube, where his 51.22 average bested Schelin's 1:01.30.
